Why is this community so spiteful on the forums? I don't think I've ever seen so much arguing on such a regular basis anywhere else.

Obviously we have a serious helping of morons and forum trolls provoking things, but the actual good members still do their fair share of fighting. Why can't we all mellow out about this cute little plane game? This community seems really sinister. Can't be good for business.

You've got a point there Beagsie. I think this probably stems from two key factors.

1. Demo debate - Like it or not, the demo community is HUGE here, and everytime a discussion comes up that might remotely affect demos, someone picks a fight.

2. Nerf-Herding - An especially hot issue since the HC nerf, brought up again due to talks about a Trickster nerf. This is another issue that frequently devolves into thread-stealing arguments.

Hurri's solution? Get yer ya-yas out in game or IRL. Get a punching bag, an electric guitar, or a rifle. Join the debate squad, get yourselves laid, masturbate more, do something to relax. Also (SHAMELESS SELF-PROMOTION ALERT) go post in my Demo Functionality thread:p

As Beagle said, it's just a cute little game :)

Its hard to control yourself when you see threads like "u think chaff perk wud be a good idea" and that's it. :(

Seriously? I'd say that if anything it's a little more civilized than the average forum for a multiplayer game.

which sadly still means that people are still immature twats here, but meh.
