The website got a minor facelift (http://altitudegame.com) along with the video and press image kit.

It is very nice Karl. I like the main image, and the New Trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipAaYOMsIC8) looks great too!
Apologies for posting about this before you :o

So... do you plan on adding quadruple-gatling-plane any time soon? Because otherwise it's a bit odd. Nor does it really fit in with the game style.
very cool picture, did you made it yourself? if so, how?

Let's just call it an artistic interpretation of biplane ;)

Haha no. It was made by an artist that Dio works with.

Yeah that plane would pwn!
Well, if the community bugs them enough, they might just consider adding a complete biplane makeover to their immense to-do list (perks would stay the same, of course). I, for one, am in full support of the NeoBiplane.

Did anyone else notice how many SWN players in that video got a face full of heavy cannon?

As a graphics designer I have to protest to this blatant disregard for any consistency and art direction!
The game has quite bright and vivid colors, the current logo is bright and blue, the website has a blue sky with clouds, but all that is being thrown out the window when it comes to this new vintage styled poster with a brownish hue, extreme contrast and planes that don't even exist in the game.
And the video combines this vintage style with in-game shots which clashes horribly and instead of using the real logotype for the game, there's a simple font with a cheap looking photoshop effect saying 'Altitude'..
It simply doesn't fit in at all..
What you should do, instead of killing the games art direction, is just hire someone who can design a website that is consistent and fits the style of the game.

Great picture! What game is it? And why are you advertising it on the Altitude site?

Good point there Seiseki - lack of consistency in design. It all looks nice but is just different. You either move to a new style or you stay with your old one. Consistency is very important part of marketing and you don't want to confuse users.
Also new plane ?
Sorry for that, but I'm a designer as well and this got bit messy.
