all servers are down for me. ive tried to refresh but no sucess

sounds like a firewall issue (assuming you can get to other things online)
It's possible windows firewall is blocking the altitude application, check firewall settings in the control panel.
Would also need more information on your computer setup, OS, internet connection, router/direct, etc.
what did the status bar say?

well everything was unresponsive.
and it happened again
all servers down.
and my friends list. everyone was logged out. same as me. it said something about no user avalable then the ip adress. or something like that. this one is pretty recent. ummm. most are logged out now since of this

Happened to me too just now nickname
I logged back in and all official servers were gone. All of them, FFA, TDM, and 1, 2, and 3.

Yeah - you will need to reinstall again. The new installers (which are currently being uploaded, so they won't be available for ~24 hours) will fix that problem, but since those aren't available yet you may just run into that bug one last time.
