landing is good. maps need to be bigger though, so you cant just land then get back in the fight in seconds ;)

what if landing gave you a powerup too, i don't know if it was supposed to be this way but since when you kill someone you don't get one anymore it's alot harder to get powerups

Like it more this way. Before, powerup spam was out of control (though rapid-fire walls was pretty fun).

The area around the bases needs to be a little bigger also, so that you don't crash into rocks as soon as you take off. It would also help if you get turned around once you land and get health, so you take off in the correct direction toward the other base.
