if i understand the rules correctly, it's only if you change your setup so often that it's basically custom random.

I'm not trying to say you can *only* play one plane per game. However, if every time you die you spend time changing planes to something new - that's ban worthy. If you try a plane for a few times and feel like it's not working and your team needs plane x - that's fine. It's difficult to define the line exactly, though.

I played with those ones, who not switch it on death, but do this almost every 2nd or 3rd. And since he already tried of 5 of them and all not working, he starting to switch them again. Its not that "team needs plane x", its more like "let me randomly pick some plane and see if it works, if not i just pick another one".

also while i'm here, i was kinda wondering about this rule:

2) Playing in a maxPing=300 server when you know your connection is too bad to not get continuously disconnected in the middle of a game, causing repeated disruption.

we all know there are certain players who are almost guaranteed to DC 1-2 times a game, EVERY time they play ladder...nothing is ever done...why is this a rule?

I'm just curious here, who of the ladder admins are actually really active. Or is this maybe a respect sort of thing, that you don't want to ban for speccing mid-game and specchats because it will cause butthurt? i'm just curious because there have been quite a few reports for bans yet, but no actual responses unless there are separate threads created for those.

Reason: Rules 1 and 2.

1) Leaving in the middle of a game and not returning.

2) Playing in a maxPing=300 server when you know your connection is too bad to not get continuously disconnected in the middle of a game, causing repeated disruption.


Proof:

Altitude Ladder Match 7562 on Ladder #3


DA BEAST had a spiking connection earlier (ping kick here in earlier match).

When it came to Match 7562, had left before game began (assuming to pink kick) and did not play at all during the match. As you can see from the match history, while DA BEAST is listed on the player list, he is not found on the Winners team at all (thus 0:00 play time during the match).

As I normally do not get very agitated by most things, spamming in important threads such as this is highly annoying and unnecessary, despite maybe this recent spam posting being not as severe as some other instances. I am sure it is very annoying for the admins reading through useless junk. I am sure the admins in place know the current situations and will address them appropriately.

and to dn, i think that you are also wrong. lets think about the active admins at the moment mike and ssd. 2 constantly active admins and mike hasnt played ladder for a bit. i dont see that they are working on something or are just overlooking it.

i've been pretty busy and haven't been able to get on consistently enough to properly deal with potential ban appeals, which isn't really fair to the people that would get banned. it's not really a problem if they're not banned until five days after they did their offense, it is a problem if i ban them and then don't get on the forums for over a day, basically killing a day of ladder for them for an offense they might actually properly appeal.
