Default Steam Summer Sale - Altitude 75% off - Bumbledore 50% off

Altitude 75% off ($2.49 USD)
Bumbledore 50% off (2.49 USD)

For those of you wanting to get CP here's a reminder of what you need to do:
  1. Have your friend click your share link (Example: http://altitudegame.com/friend/441287)
  2. Buy them the game
  3. Launch Altitude from their Steam account using the same computer they clicked your share link on.
*NOTE* If they ever played Altitude or Altitude Demo from Steam you won't get CP. If they launch Altitude before they click your share link you won't get CP.

Altitude is also on sale via our PayPal store page. Click your "PayPal Gift of Altitude" link and you will get CP for every purchase.

Thanks!

Now off to the laser filled skies!

ball_football hosts, you better shut your servers down if you don't want Radium's mechanical banana slicer under your bed one of these nights

How much CP do you actually get when you buy it for someone else?

Also the process for getting rewarded CP looks dodgy... if it didn't work, and one were to show you their steam receipt (including gifting info), could CP be worked out that way?

So I went on my own ref link, bought the game through paypal, got the key through my email, messaged the key to some one on alt (using the pm in the game), he used it, and now he has full account.

Do I get points or did I do it wrong? Stating the obvious: I haven't been awarded with any points yet. Been about 10 hours.

It only applies for the people who have the game already and buy it for their friends. 300cp for each key bought.

edit: i read it all wrong

i believe this may be your problem, judging from what you've stated:

Two things you did wrong: the guy who got alti should have clicked your ref link and he was obviously playing altitude (leggos post).

You should have used the "PayPal Gift of Altitude" link. Just email us and we'll award you your CP.

Yes, just email us at support@nimblygames.com. SteamWorks doesn't have an API for us to check if you gifted the game to anyone through Steam.

We're not trying to be dodgy the code works like this:
  1. Someone clicks your referrer link /friend/9343
  2. Their IP is now put in our database for 24hrs saying they were referred by /friend/9343
  3. When someone creates an account we check the database for their IP and set their referrer accordingly from the database
  4. If they register the game ever (even years later) you will get the referrer CP credit
Someones referrer cannot be changed once their account is created.

Just bought my bro an account and got the CP, so the process seems to work well enough.
