I don't really see randa dominating TBD, it's just whoever is whoring in a loopy, biplane, randa, exploded that unbalances the whole game. It's the players, not the planes.
I hunt randas with ease, provides a nice challenge, the TA nerf was kindo in place, it was fine then. |

I feel like a cool down on the 180 wouldn't address randas' lack of commitment because I've never seen people use it continuously, reversing back and forth. It's usually reverse, turn a corner, reverse, warp. But I may be wrong and there may be a perfect cool down length to balance it.
I'm still in favor of a warp cool down after laser, though. That sillyness needs to be fixed. |

might as well remove the plane if u want a cooldown on warp after lasering because if u cant combo laser + warp that would leave the plane completely useless.
if u havent seen ppl use 180 continuously u havent been watching me bomb run a lot have u?

If you nerf mobility I think you'll make randa useless as a runner and if you nerf damage you'll make it useless as a killer. If you want to nerf it I think small energy usage tweaks (as in this patch) are the way to go.

how about making the laser do more damage the longer it has been hitting another plane? so for example, hitting someone for only half the laser duration would do 1/4 of the possible damage, hitting for 3/4 of the duration would do 1/2 the possible damage, and hitting for the full duration would do the full amount.
i like this idea because the laser player with better aim will get more damage out of it, and likewise a victim player who is better able to dodge, get in cover, or get out of range will take less damage. it also increases the amount of time the randa player will need to stay out in the open exposed while firing the laser to be efficient at killing with it. |

By your post, looks like you play keyboard, What if lam decided to nerf keyboard, you'll be raging.
The only nerfing there is to do, is on the planes (not saying we should), just focus on that, nerfing any controls will demolish this game. |

I would prefer increasing the energy cost of the pews greatly along with slightly increasing the damage. That would have the same effect, yes (preventing a charge shot followed by spam from being too effective)? Additionally, this would keep the skill ceiling high on planes like trick by allowing the player to have more options after they fire a charged shot.

EDIT: great, I cannot load Altitude anymore "Can't laod the main class" error. Sigh, I do enough debugging at work, now i have to debug this even for playing... must be some stale cache EDIT 2: fixed, just needed to revalidate the steam cache for Alti. Open Steam, Library, right click Altitude, Properties. Click on 3rd tab, verify integrity of game cache. |
