Is there any reason why we start as late as 7pm gmt / 3pm est? That is getting well late for euros.

So this week was pretty funky.

xproxx didn't have enough and decided to take the forfeit loss (ZroG and Dt agreed to play next week)

Ball showed up at the wrong time like a bunch of scrubs and then some folks didn't stay for the actual matches (still had enough to play apparently but not ideal team?). c: also was missing some key folks and agreed to reschedule until the following week.

Dt and Vlix are fighting this week (games currently underway).

Next week Ball will fight c: at 2 pm EST and then the playoffs will continue from there.

(This was a decision that many teams said sounded ok - if you object feel free to call it out here ^_^)

Did we have a better option to pick?
A question why c: vs ball game have been rescheduled and xprox vs c: not?

Considering that not only Zrog, but also xprox, ball and c: had problems with players wasnt the best thing for the gameplay, to push the games to next week?
If you think a moment i'm sure u'll understand that rescheduling all the games or 3/4 was the better option for a game that we should try to revive.

xproxx's ludicrous state wasn't going to be any different next week or 2 weeks after that. The few of us that still remained earlier today felt it was better to just forfeit and call it quits for everyone's good.

Even if we reschedule the game vs c: we won't be able to have 6 people online, as Slender said. xproxx struggled to have enough people every week. The only playoff game we played ended up with 4vs3 setup with two people being ping kicked so it was better for us to forfeit.

FYI very unlikely I can be around at all on May 15. I can be online for sure on the 8th. If 15th someone else can hopefully record.

edit: I might be able to change my plans for the weekend of the 15th to this weekend if I know enough in advance. Probably need to know at least by tomorrow night (Tuesday).

Most likely will be on the 15th. Haven't talked to Balln at all about this but we probably have a lot of players busy with Mother's Day plans.

i talked to both teams and it appears that May 15th will be the best day to play the Grand Finals. Remember that the MVP of the winning team gets a special bonus prize, so good luck to both teams.

Are you going to decide who the mvp is?
Are you going to show up or just watch the VOD afterwards?
What is the criteria?
How do you determine "item usage efficiency"?
How do you determine how many goals a player has "defensed"?
Are you going to answer Soneji's question? http://altitudegame.com/forums/showp...1&postcount=52
¿

Probably best to judge who MVP is via a team of people (at least 3) on the day.

Shucks, going to fly that day and have severe jet lag. But definitely the best day and rather not postpone it even more.

So.. is anyone able to record the games or at least be a backup if I can't be here? Still looking like it will be difficult to be here as it is my fiancée's birthday.

I can record the games from my perspective, but it would probably be better to have someone else do a proper recording. If someone else isn't able to do it maybe set up a remote viewer and allow someone you trust to start the recording and tab as necessary

Yes I am not opposed to giving someone trusted remote access to one of my recording systems to record finals. Recording locally would probably be more reliable though, especially if outside the US since it may be too laggy to control.

I have no idea what I will be doing next weekend yet so there is a small possibility I can be here. More likely though I will be gone, but I probably can remote in myself to start and stop recording. However, at best I would probably tab at game start to show starting lineup and may not even get that done. There would likely be no tabbing to show stats.

Goose, you told me in Steam a while ago that we would only have a single bo7 final. Are we still doing that or do we play the second bo7 if it comes to that?

Finally uploading rounds 1 and 2. Loser/Winner Finals will start uploading in a few hours.

Luckily the way things worked out I believe I will be here for the entire finals tomorrow. Or at least I expect to be available until at least until 9:30PM GMT. Unless the max 14 games are played I should be there the entire time.

edit: Should add that I expect to need to be away from about 5:40PM UTC until at least 6:00, maybe as late as 6:10. I would be shocked if the first game starts before then though.

* * * CONGRATULATIONS TO {BALL} FOR WINNING SKY LEAGUE SEASON 13 * * *

{ball} has now won an unprecedented 7 Sky League Championships!

MVP was awarded to Mikesol for his excellent performances throughout the Grand Finals

FUN FACT: This was the longest Sky League in the history of Altitude, lasting a total of 85 days. (The previous record for longest Sky League was SL Season 5 which lasted a mere 66 days in comparison.)

Special thanks to VAN1SH1NG for providing the tournament servers and recording all of the league matches over these past 3+ months. Without his hard work and dedication this Sky League wouldn't have been possible.
