Well, I tried to attach my map but cant... is there a way to do it so that other people can download it and try it out?
I got a screenshot of it to attach, but it's obviously not playable just being a jpeg ![]() There are an even number of spawn points and turrets on each side. A bomb is located in Jupiter for the "Sun" team and in the Earth for the "Moon" team. It's still a work in progress, but I wouldnt mind suggestions on how to improve it. You can upload your map to a service like www.mediafire.com and then link to it from there. Or you can upload it to the Altitude Wiki and link it from there also.

I think that it's tough to say, it looks like a fairly small map and there is only really one viable bomb option and it requires getting behind the planet which makes it hard to do. Also, there seems to be a lot of turrets (7 for each side) while most maps have 4 max (with the exception being asteroids). Also, the team bomb spawns are in such a tight location that it seems like it would be easily defended... like an explodet could just lay mines through the tunnel. I suggest opening up more options, more tunnels, and more routes to the base.
Also, another thing to note is that the base for red is down low, making it easier to go up top and bomb, while the base for blue is up high and requires a route from the lower portion which I think is harder to do. You might consider mirroring both sides in terms of base location. But then again, blue's bomb is down low and red is up high so it might equal out. Hope this helps. -Maimer |

I like the layout, plenty of turns. But it seems empty, maybe a few asteroids in the real open parts? Just to add some more vantage points. And I think you should take off one turret from the sun and earth. Seems like the games would last forever due to lots of defense. Most importantly, to make it a really good looking map, please add some stars in the background. It looks pretty dull with all the black.
But for a first draft it looks pretty good, and ask Maimer for more pointers because mine are pretty basic!

This map looks AWESOME! maybe, as the members said earlier, make the passages more thicker and add a sort of 'neutral' planet in the middle-bottom to even in out. Then the jupiter (maybe mercury instead?) and earth (instead of earth, maybe make it pluto) (mainly because the contrast between jupiter and earth is wrong) would be on the top of the map like jupiter. then make the sun and moon on the bottom of each corner like the sun. otherwise, this map is extremely cool looking and playable.

Watching the place of turrets it shouldnt be too hard to bomb except for red. Lower way is hell so top should be the best path BUT its too open to get a good cover for
Your bomb what my advice is: delete 1-2 turrets on each team and make sure you add some asteroids. What also would be goo because of all the open space is 2 neutral bomb spawning places like in kayhem but thats a big choice. Overall it looks nice, good job. |

I found if you make a map between some program upgrades your file will not download.
The only fix I know is to make it all over again. Its a pain in the { you know }, but create a new map and then save your graphics to that map. Hope this helps Never mind just read your post and misunderstood what you said Last edited by duck dogers; 10-30-2009 at 11:48 PM. |

Omnicron really. Stop saying you want to make peoples mals better and give them credit. If you want any credit start making your own maps and don't say such things as: 'If you wud me upgrade ur map i give ya credit' thats dumb and not cool at all.
