Cool idea, Wyrd. I'll tell the Footballers and will attend next Sunday (6th).

Apparently I, Yung Humma, have been banned for 20 years for "excessive use of the arr tag". I had it on for a day, was kicked from the servers, and changed it the next day without even bother to look back at the servers. Today I try to join and see this downright ludicrous ban when I try to join the server.

Repeal it, please. This is downright oppressive and doesn't even make any sense.

So you think it's okay to wear the tag of a team you don't belong to?

You think it's ok to ban me until I'm 41 when I took it off afterwards?

I must admit it's pretty harsh, but on the other hand the server hoster is free to ban whoever he wants.

I've asked you to remove arr tag when you were "{arr} gg" and banned you for one day. Next day (or maybe next next one) you were playing on our servers as "you {arr} mad", so you've got permaban. It's 20 years only because alti considers "forever" as 20 years. Yes, I think it's perfectly ok, but I don't care if other arr admin removes it. I'm not going to remove it though, there is plenty of other servers you can play on.

Clan tags go in front, that pretty obviously wasn't a clan tag. It was a joke about you being mad, which you were (and are).

Wow, that's

Alright well anyway, deepest sympathies to the {arr} clan. I hope I didn't offend the rest of you, and it would be a pleasure to play on your servers again.

Normally I'd be inclined to remove/reduce this ban now, despite how annoying people using clantags that aren't theirs are, but your altbouncer history of names makes me think that we're not missing out on much without your presence.

Appeal denied.

Let's spell it out. Many of your names seem designed to cause offence/single out another player. This is not a good thing.

From what I've seen of you on the forums (and now AltBouncer), you're rude, immature, and offensive.

From what I've seen of you in-game, you're immature and annoying. Probably haven't played with you enough to see the rude and offensive side.

Frequent name changes are often a way to avoid people forming a lasting negative opinion about a player with a pattern of negative behavior.

Hi there Pirates,

I sent a PM to Strzy, but the date is so close, I rather post here as well:

We are able to play tomorrow at 7pm GMT, so the scrim is ON.

Thanks for the games yesterday, arr, the first one was amazingly close (the second - not so much )

And sorry for not playing more, there was another scrim arranged for that day (which I forgot)

See you next time!

TODAY is deadline for signing up for WABL (http://altitudegame.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6457). We want to join, don't we? I haven't found Arr in the list of teams.

Our website is now down for five days. Is there any possibility to resurrect it?

I've created new discussion group on http://groups.google.com/group/sky-pirates. It is invitation only, if you want to join, PM me your email address. Its main advantage is that it just works, and is unlikely to go down.

Of course I hope we can continue to use forum on our website, but let's be honest ... forum software there sucks horribly, and with website being down for so long I'm bit skeptical about its further usage.

Wolfey had gotten word from the hoster last week(?). There was a power failure or something, and then something else turned out broken when that was fixed, so they had to get a new rack or something. They are fixing it/going to... :\

Also I think I can make it to the match.

I should be there.

I miss the drama of the forums. I hope Wolfey can get some compensation for the amount of down time those forums keep having, with the sql errors n'all.

Really, only just Akkar and Wolfey (and Trix) are easil reached with Steam. The few others are on it unreliably. Will let them two know.
