Default Congrats, Nimbly Games!

Congratulations on bringing altitude all the way to release!

And don't get down if the population drops like hell for the first bit, it'll pick back up when the craving sets in and when word gets out. Or when people find a twenty lying around.

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Is there a way to use the registration code without creating a new account so I don't have to re-level up? (I thought that's what the buy/register game button did but that button seems to have disappeared)

Thanks!! The outstanding community feedback has really helped make Altitude what it is today, so thanks again to our awesome community! And don't worry, we're not done developing Altitude -- our main focus for the next couple weeks will be increasing the player base, but after that it's back to the good stuff: new features and enhancements.

Yes, you can register your full version key with your existing account. I think we forgot to flush the database before pushing the patch, but it should be fixed as of a few minutes ago -- do you see the "Get Full Game" button now?

It's May 1st, not April 1st, guys. Fo' real?

Well, I'm super excited. I'm so excited that I'm flying back to the US right now just so that I can have proper internet and play this baby.

Buy, buy, buy!

Btw, don't forget to update the video on your front page. You still have that crappy one that has the old shield art and ****.

Actually, putting together a good trailer is probably pretty important now.

oh and boooo for never at least trying a patch with the version of the music with vocals. it was 20000x better.

Congrats! Now it's time for the game to really "take off."

Also, Karl, don't forget about all those screenshots that I took for you that you can use to update the images on the website.

Congrats Lam!

This game looks amazing. Hard to believe you've been working on it for over 8 years now!

Great job!

Pretty ballsy releasing it without the recommended fda warnings.

Altitude contains addictive qualities roughly equivalent of crack.

Altitude may cause complete loss of productivity and may result in loss of job if used at work.

Long term use of Altitude can cause stiffness of finger joints and dissociation with the outside world.

Nonetheless, Congrats, and purchased, bargain at 20 bucks.

Why not put up like 20? And maybe include some of the shots that don't look like a complete cluster ****.

Yep, registered. Though when I hit register it popped up a message saying cannot connect to registration server, try again later. But everyone knows "later" is a codeword for "now" so I hit it again and this time it said my account was already registered... so it seemed to have gone through the first time.

Weird -- could you guys do a reportBug? The registration went thru fine but I'm not sure what's causing the UI to report strange results. Open the console and type /reportBug

Thanks!

$20 is practically giving it away.

Think about what other forms of entertainment you can get for $20, and then consider that's all it takes to get unlimited access to altitude.

At the number of hours I've played the game for so far, I've paid $0.10 per hour to play (and constantly falling). There's NOTHING else that gives me as much fun, for less money.

Hell, you could shut down the game today, and I'd still consider it money well spent.

Default Awesome job guys!

Glad to finally have a way to pay back for the many hours spent tooling my biplane around! I've been playing this thing in one form or another since 2002/2003 - its pretty damn cool to see it come all the way to release. Anyone have screen shots of the original for comparison?

What's next for the game? Are you guys looking for any other distribution channels to help get the word out? Xbox live maybe?

p.s. BTW if you guys ever need a full time gig let me know - actually, scratch that - are you hiring?!?!

Lammy will use them during the credits! And don't forget the promotional music video.

Altitude is so wonderful that, at $20, I bought three. I've never felt better about a game purchase in my life.

Sorry Devil -- Paypal's the only way to get the game for now. If it's any consolation both Karl and I make the vast majority of our online purchases with Paypal and have never had a problem.

Btw, you don't need a paypal account or anything. They're just the payment processor. It's the same as making a credit card purchase anywhere.
