Dojo Donations Changelog 10/01/2011 --- Thank you WashCycle, for letting me know that the server was down! 10/01/2011 --- Updated Dojo admin and server lists. 02/28/2011 --- Dojo #2 is temporarily shutdown until recurring technical issues can be resolved. 02/28/2011 --- Fiddled with map rotation a little. 02/??/2011 --- Other new maps added (ball_sewer, ball_pegs, ball_factory) 02/03/2011 --- New map added! (ball_swarm, by Polio and Nikon) 02/02/2011 --- New map added! (ball_arcade, by Polio and Nikon) Check it out! 11/11/2010 --- List of 'Dojo Rules' started. Message to the community added (look down a couple posts). 11/11/2010 --- Dojo Admin list updated. 11/01/2010 --- New (rough draft) prototype of ball_risk available on Dojo servers for testing. 11/01/2010 --- Dojo #2 moved from New York data center, to Atlanta. 10/24/2010 --- Raised max ping on Dojo #2 from 175 to 200. 10/24/2010 --- Removed some of the lesser played custom maps from both Dojos. Added older version of ball_risk, shuffled the map order a bit to get more action for ball_snow. Removed ball_lostcity from the map rotation, but it's still votable. 9/30/2010 --- Dojo #2 had the dedicated CPU core option removed. Clear hardware performance differences between Dojo #1 and #2 were not evident, and costs must be reduced in order to keep both Dojo servers running. 9/29/2010 --- Major Payne added as Dojo admin. 9/22/2010 --- Newer version of ball_sideshow was uploaded somewhat recently. 9/22/2010 --- Max ping for Dojo #2 was changed from 200 to 175. 8/19/2010 --- tgleaf added as Dojo admin on Dojo #1 and Dojo #2. 8/19/2010 --- Added server information for Dojo #1 and #2 to this thread. Message to the Dojo Community
First off, I owe a lot of thanks to all of you who have helped make Dojo what it is today; a fun server for players of any skill-level to play some ball and improve their skills. Dojo would not exist without the continued support of you guys. I hope you will all continue to support the Dojo and help me keep this great community of players together for as long as possible.  Being admin/owner of Dojo is both challenging and rewarding. I walk a fine line sometimes between enforcing rules and keeping the play fun and competitive for all. I try to be fair and consistent. Sometimes I succeed at this and perhaps, sometimes I do not. I welcome constructive criticism. Please bear in mind that I run these servers at my own expense of time and money. I do not make a profit (generous PayPal donators notwithstanding). Dojo admins also contribute their time and effort to this community, and I appreciate the respect that you have shown to them, by following the rules and contributing to a positive/fun atmosphere. General Rules for Dojo Play (more being added..) DO have fun. DO contribute to making Dojo fun for all. DO pick on krawz (once in a while). DO try to keep the games competitive (that means you, Mr. Flexi/Reverse Loopy) DO eat your veggies, mind your parents, respect your elders/admins/fellow players and all that other stuff that bigboys do. DO NOT make racist comments or use racist slang. DO NOT stalk/hunt specific players. This is considered griefing and can result in kick/ban if the griefed player objects. DO NOT spam chat. DO NOT unduly harass other players (even krawz). DO NOT sabotage play for others due to personal objections (you don't like the map, etc)

And it's not tax-deductible, unless Dojo's a registered non-profit. It's just a gift

Dojo #1 is moving to a newer server with better hardware specs, hopefully today. As a consequence, the IP address of the server will probably change, which will cause it to no longer show up in your favorites/bookmarked servers. If you do not see Dojo #1 in your favorites list, please look for it down below in the normal server list, where you can re-add it to favorites. If it's not there either, please double-check your Filters to make sure you're not filtering out empty/full servers, etc.
