This is pretty weak evidence, but when I google image searched "Herodadotus", there were some pics of anime characters. I believe one was carrying a katana.

That's the closest to a katana I got. If somebody checks my search history, they are gonna be like lolwut.

The letter A appears in the clue more then any other single letter and Ajuk is the only one whos name starts with A!!!

This is screwing me... most of the mumble people now think im a mafia even though im not because im acting to obvious and "giving them wrong info", even though i believe whole heartedly that my final decision(posted above) is the correct one.

All though i have a little more info that might point to wolf.

A wolf is a dog, dogs chase cats, the word Kat sounds like cat and it in one of the words in the clue.

that's is all i think for today's clue for me, i think.

ok ok... i found one more connection to the clue. this one is a little more of a long shot but if i know kuja, which i do super duper well, this is probably the way they are thinking.

Katana was in the clue, samurais use katanas, samuries are from japan, the japan flag is of a sun.

Alright, glad this finally got started! Town, we can do this

Anyway, let's get down to business. I'm on vacation right now, so I might not be the most active until the 21st (you can check my post in the 51 thread if you don't believe me!). But still, just looking at the clues, the flying banana thing seems almost too easy. It's like the 3rd or 4th result on google after someone mentioned it in the thread The first clue is usually supposed to be the most obscure clue (although this admittedly is sorta obscure).

While I'm not going to be too thorough tonight, since I probably should get some sleep pretty soon (and won't commit to a lynch target until later), I will ask if anyone knows if there are any japanese players in this game? I personally am a white dude in america, if anyone's curious. But I feel as if that would be good information to know, as well as if there are other asians playing (although japanese would obviously be ideal).

Also, I would recommend we not rush this lynch, since rushing lynches is probably one of the worst things you can do in this sort of game.

However, I like the evidence presented on both wolf and banana as of now. However, we have essentially an infinite amount of time to decide and to allow for people to see "scum tells" and the like, so I'm not going to commit to a lynch target at the current moment, and will vote once I am able to actually look everyone up myself and also hear what more people have to say.

EDIT: Actually, from what I'm reading, the wolf j max evidence seems to be from a devil may cry fanfic? Leaning towards banana now.

EDIT 2: going to sleep in 10 minutes, talk to me in 8 hours or something.

EDIT 3: OH, "unsheathed my katana." Got you. Ok, still on fence. Will post later.

I think its Unbreakable

The evidence is all in the word Katana

1) Katanas have a pop culture stereotype of being unbreakable and / or the sword that never dulls

2) Kuja being the anime nerd he is, probably knows this stereotype. Its even a small part of Kill Bill 2.

3) Google "unbreakable katana" and just do some looking around.

If you look at Kuja's clue history, he never really relies on simply googling someones name and seeing what comes up. He always makes some sort of leap of logic with his clues. The leap is never really nuts and its never a simple google of a name.

Also, the first thing Unbreakable does in this game is to accuse woken of being mafia and then later claims its because Wok3n is asian (even though he's not). To me, that raises suspicion.

A good test to do when you're trying to figure out these clues is to see if you would use this clue if you were in Kuja's position. A lot of these "clues" pointing at Ajuk and wolf are a bit of a reach. I'm currently torn between Unbreakable and Flyingbanana, but I'm more for Unbreakable.

Also, if you have a position in the town of defense, use them wisely. Posting a coherent message on this thread makes you a target so you should defense those posters. Either the mafia tries to kill them and they're protected or they kill one of the freeloaders around. I'm not saying protect me (even though I think I'm right) but use your judgement wisely.

I have gotten a few pms about this: you can change your vote at any time before we move into the night phase. If you do change your vote either edit your previous vote or quote your previous vote with the revised vote to make the tallying easier. Once there is a clear majority in the votes and things look locked up we will transition in to night phase 1.

I think I have to agree with smush here. His logic about unbreakable is pretty sound in my opinion - at least it's much more sound than any of the other random tangents people seem to be going off of...

I don't have any new theories, but just wanted to say that as new clues pop up, we will have to remember this katana hint and maybe look back at some of these theories people have come up with. There's a chance that one of these ideas are right.

I just need to clarify something I will not use irl info for any clues unless its in their profile, only information that everyone would be privy to as not everyone knows each other personally. Also for those of you with profiles please do not edit them until the game is over its a form of cheating, that includes your listed location.
