This is the final week of FFL! The last rounds of the playoffs will be played including the finals! Now it is on August 22!

FFL server 1

KLF vs FU - 6pm GMT / 2pm EST

IL vs KLF/FU - 7pm GMT / 3pm EST

fLb vs IL/KLF/FU - 8pm GMT / 4pm EST - FINALS!

All matches preceding the finals will be BO5

The finals will be BO7

If fLb drops the first BO7, since they haven't gone to the losers bracket another BO7 will have to be played. However if fLb wins the first BO7, then they claim the tourney.

Finals map pool

Asteroids, Cave, Middleground, Heights, Core, Fallout, Focus

All maps played will be based off of a veto system

Just saying but bo7 at 8 GMT is pretty late for euros and there are quite a few euros in all the teams. What about 5/6/7 GMT?

The entire tournament has been played around this time zone. I was not told of this conflict before. The bo7 should be quick anyways so I wouldn't worry about missing your bed time.

I don't think the server problems are resolved yet seeing as ladder, apl and ffl are all hosted on the same vps and they all seem to be down. Until we get in touch with phong its gonna remain the same unless someone has a free vps you can use for ffl

DMCM just say:
not deserved to be in the finals > deserved to be in the finals

FU won the quarter finals 5 v 4 although KLF only had 4, still no sports at all.
FU won the semi finals 5 v 4 as IL|FU lost his connection.

the reason they replied to us for not sitting was: flight lag bombed us.
well if you think thats a reason then gtfo cos thats what flight's known for.

All the drama that should come out of this is if anyone from FU disconnects during any future matches, no-one from the opposite team should sit. Extend the same courtesies to them. ggs.

Except for like Exodus the entire FU team's manner was very poor and the fact that they seriously took advantage of dcs and 5v4s to advance was just wow.

Overall good tourney except for long waiting inbetween games (not sure u can do much about that tho) and a lot of admin abuse that wasnt funny...

yes, my suggestion for the rule would be:

if the player just 'leaves' the game the opposing team decides if they spectate or not.
if the leave louds ' connection lost' the team should sit and if they do not sit the map will be restarted.

We could argue this all day(and I have no doubt some of you will), but what I saw as the decisive factors were:

After game 1, Void came online meaning we weren't stuck with 3 randas.
After game 4, we benched CCN who had underslept.

Just my 2 cents.

It was a rape every time except when we subbed in half asleep ccn or when we went **** stupid on our plane comp cause we had 3 randas. Don't kid yourself into thinking that was a close series.

I'm sorry to hear that FU apparently used 5v4 to its advantage against IL. I disagree with that and am happy to say that I had no part in that game. I only played the first three matches, and as far as those go, very good games to IL.

On a less friendly note, the altitude community needs to calm down. Also, I really don't appreciate being banned from the FFL server right when I joined to watch my team play against fLb in core. I don't know if I got banned because 1) Some ignorant server admin was pissed at FU for their conduct (which I wasn't part of), or 2) They wanted to create more space in the server, in which case they certainly shouldn't kick a member of one of the competing teams.

From my perspective: very good games everyone, congrats on the win fLb.

Ye good games everyone, and i completely agree that the admin abuse has to stop. Ive seen kuja been banned 3 times, as far as fLb team is concerned, during this tourney and its pretty annoying (by ffl server admins obv) cause it forces us all to wait and just creates an unfriendly environment.
