Problem exiting altitude

About half of the time when i try to exit altitude, My monitor freezes up with the alti main menu. The only way i know of to get out of this without shutting of my computer is to log out using CTRL + L, logging in as someone else, then logging back in as me. Is there a way to keep this from happening?

What OS are you running? Are you playing from Steam? This issue is probably video driver related: please update to the latest video drivers directly from your manufacturer (e.g. ati.com, nvidia.com, or intel.com -- Windows Update does not provide suitable OpenGL drivers). If that doesn't help try the test version from http://nimblygames.com/test/altitude.exe

try typing /exit in game, that may provide a smoother game exit.
