Server Creation Question

I created my own server, and all is well except it keeps showing up as a LAN server, even though I left that option unselected in the configuration window...this may be a total noob question, and I apologize if it is, but can anyone tell me how to switch it so it isn't LAN?

Your servers appear as a "LAN server" on your client's server list because the server is hosted on your local network. The "LAN server" checkbox in the server configurator controls whether your server will be hidden from the master server list. As long as you leave "LAN server" unchecked your server will show up to all players as a normal server (and to anyone on your local network as a LAN server) (assuming no firewall/routing issues).
