I love the game but there's one thing that stops me from buying it...
I have a 30" Dell 3008WFP LCD monitor with a resolution of 2560x1600 and Altitude not only can't use the whole screen but the graphics are also pixelated. Tthere is the stretching option, but it makes the graphics even worse ![]() Could you please optimize the game for bigger monitors, and most importantly for widescreen monitors which are becoming more and more common nowadays? |

Not sure if it applies to you directly, but this thread may be of use:
http://altitudegame.com/forums/showthread.php?t=481 I play on a dual monitor widescreen system, and I love it |

I've already asked for this in a previous topic but they said that proper widescreen support would not be possible because it would give a big advantage to people who have widescreen over the others.

Excuse me, that's true for any game and yet you can play them on ESL and other international game tournaments/leagues etc. with any monitor we want. This is basically the same as making all tennis players wear the same shoes and playing with the same racket...

It would give you a huge advantage in Altitude especially with the maps being so small already and I don't see how your tennis example fits? They're not forcing everyone to have the same monitor or the same resolution...
On the other hand if Altitude did support widescreen they'll pretty much be forcing anyone who wants to stay competitive to get a widesreen. |

Well, ok, in that case let's talk about the second problem. Do the slightly pixelated graphics on high resolutions also have anything to do with staying competitive?

Well personally I have a 22" widescreen and my default resolution is 1680x1050 but I've found that in Altitude 1024x768 looks much clearer and much sharper than 1680x1050 or any of the other resolutions. So I just use that and it looks perfect. Only thing is you don't have the option to stretch 1024x768 but hopefully they'll implement that in the future.
