APL Easter Break - One day tournament

We decided to shift week 5 since it is easter and many teams wont be able to show up.
Teams arent expected to show up this week but for the players who do show up i posted a one day tournament below.

Random seeding, Bo1, finals bo3.

Yes the games are Bo1 because it is a 1 day tournament. This way if teams dont show up you only have to wait 10-15 minutes to play your next game. This tournament wont affect in any way the regular season standings. You are allowed 2 wild cards for this tournament, they will not affect you season subs count and they will be able to play in other teams after this tournament if they want.

GAMES:

A: 2:00 pm EST - APL 1 - Asteroids, Core, Justice
B: 2:00 pm EST - APL 2 - Asteroids, Core, Justice
C: 2:20 pm EST - APL 1 - Cave, Focus, Woods
D: 2:20 pm EST - APL 2 - Cave, Focus, Woods
E: 2:20 pm EST - APL 3 - Cave, Focus, Woods
F: 2:20 pm EST - APL 4 - Cave, Focus, Woods
G: 2:40 pm EST - APL 1 - Fallout, Underpark, Mayhem
H: 2:40 pm EST - APL 2 - Lostcity, Scrapyard, Grotto
I: 3:00 pm EST - APL 1 - Heights, Bowserscastle, Core
J: 3:20 pm EST - APL 1 [Bo3] - Asteroids, Cave, Scrapyard, Mayhem, Fallout

Loser bracket games will be played in Tournament Server #1 and #2 - pw: tourny
Top game in server #1
Bottom game in server #2

Map pool for the loser bracket is the same as the Normal bracket. e.g. first round of loser bracket gets: Cave, Focus, Woods.

Hope this is clear enough, post here or pm me any questions. If you have complaints keep them for yourself.

Times are there to give an indication, please play your games as soon as the other team finishes to make this as fast as possible.

Why is PRs side of the bracket containing the 3 teams in last place? Did you really need to make PRs schedule that easy? 4 of the top 6 teams are on the top side - 51, FRO, fLb, IL. I say you stop calling them "random" seeding because you obviously stack your schedule out......and don't say you didn't.

1.Did you read the entire thread?

2.Random seeds are called random seeds because they give you random schedules. I also made it double elimination to make it fair for everyone. And get your ****ing stats right cuz 2 teams from the top 4 are in the top bracket and the other 2 are in the bottom one, seems kinda fair to me.

3.I thought people would apreciate a small one day tournament instead of doing nothing. Feel free to start another one day tournament if you dont like mine.

I really don't think PR would stack the deck for something so trivial and last I checked they wanted good games. Think it over next time before you accuse someone of something like that so you don't make yourself sound like a tool.

Great games were played. PR wins and would like to thank our opponents and everyone that played. It was a fun time.

edit: I hear nipple was your teams mvp this week so I am going to go ahead and say fLb won this actually.

Our two wilds were Tay (CaptainWolfe) and Nipple. We didn't ask Nipple until the KLF games. The team was XX2, Tay, Aya, Pata, and myself for bong's. We had sky and Mintz come on for the KLF games, but Tay, Aya and XX2 had to leave. If we didn't ask someone to play then we wouldn't have been able to play a proper 5v5 game. Before Aya left he asked Nipple if he could join in since fLb didn't show and he agreed to join us. Everyone played well, but Pata was the MVP. He defended so many pushes, most where the odds were not in his favor. Awesome job, Pata. <3

Again, thanks to everyone that played. Sorry, Kuja, but if you showed up for the games and pulled together a team then you guys would have won.

Gave my team the day off we already recently one 2 of these one day tournies, no glory to be had here.
