hey guys so after a few months of in and out playing, I felt like bringing up a couple issues with TBD bombs when they're dropped. Firstly, it is possible to block two bombs. Not sure why that is the case but its kinda weird and shouldn't happen imo. Also, when a bomb is dropped, it kinda bothers (well me at least) that if you are out of position from the block, you still have time to chase the bomb and block it before it hits the base. (promotes bad defense really..). The other issues regarding blocks that really shouldnt have happened I would complain about, but I already understand that people would say the old bomb code led to too many lag bomb drops and what not..
Honestly tho, its getting kinda old and prolonging many ladder games in fact because of these weird uncalled for blocks ._. anyone else think this is kinda an issue that could be solved? Is it even the bomb code? Coulda sworn it was.. Thoughts?

I think at least part of what you are seeing is laggy people blocking bombs. Previously it was super difficult, now it's a bit easier. They are blocking on their screen, but you see them in a different place (because of the latency), so it appears they are getting some kind of crazy block.
Idk what could cause the blocking of two bombs though. |

How close are these two bombs from each other? Are those two bombs stacked?

After bomb code change i notice 3 things.
1. Some turrets can survive bomb hit 2. Matattack can survive bomb hit 3. Flight 666 drop 90 positions in ladder And now we dont have bombs flying through 3-4 players and hit base. Which is good thing |

On topic: First day the bomb code was released, I remember playing to check out how it worked, and noticed a lot of my legit bombs were now getting blocked by people wildly out of position. I also noticed people still cried lag whenever I hit like usual, but that's probably more them whining than anything. I do think the lag bomb code could use some tweaking. I was pretty confident with lag blocking back in the day, where you pre-empted where the bomb would be according to your ping/ping of the guy dropping, but with the new code I also have got a couple blocks that just make no sense. Like, I was nowhere near the bomb and I get a block for it anyway. |

also, a lot of the 'lag bombs' as of now, are un blockable when you run in from the side.
whenever someone has 140-999 ping you are most likely unable to run into a bomb from the bottom left or bottom right and block it. even though your propellor or whatever definitely teared through the bomb, it'll still keep going =/. |
