We can't permaban someone for being annoying.


While I do agree that Amir is not the most pleasant player in the server, and I have banned him a few times, you show no evidence of him breaking any rules. All I see in that chatlog is the two of you provoking him and admitting to kicking him without much of a reason. Next time, if you see him actually voting midmap take a screenshot and post it here. I have not seen Amir breaking any rules since his last week-ban which was quite a long time ago.

About his annoyance, unless he's blatantly bothering everyone in the server I suggest you just mute him.

I haven't done a ban for a 5th or 6th offense before so I'd like feedback from the other admins on the appropriate length.


His last ban was 2 weeks and before that 1 week. He doesn't seem to understand he can't do those things. I've explained it to him several times in his native tongue (Portuguese) and he keeps breaking the rules anyway. This week he was spamming chat too. For now I set a 20 day ban. Also, I put it on IP because he has 2 different accounts.

I remember banning him before but i don't know how long it was probably around 24~ days or so.
We could use a private blog/forum to store ban-list like ladder.

I'd like to suggest a rule change. Replace rule #4: 'Respect the admins, they have a ban hammer' by 'Don't (EDIT: only) respect the admins, just respect everyone'.

While if it weren't for the admins hosting these severs, we wouldn't be playing coop (not saying anyone else would set up an coop sever :P ). I treat everyone the same, whatever admin or not, just to make everyone's experinces fun.

I think the original rule #4 should stay, reason if we try change it to Respect everyone, admins have the right to Premaban "annoying" players, for that reason.
Just my thoughts on this rule, not saying we shouldn't use this rule, but saying this doesn't produce the desirable effect as from my point of view.

Ok, so Amir, I voted kicked you because you were hogging the charge and claiming it wasn't "kickable" because it's somthing to do with skill and you can't quick for not being good. I vote kicked you for 2 reasons:

1. You were annoying me and everyone in the server. I told you to stop adding me and you did it again... You push your luck too far.
2. You were hogging the charge, not just in caution (and i must tell you, you did this 5 or 6 times) when Admins were not present, but in some other map, when Sky, CCN,DMCM,myself and other people were telling you not to. I can vouch that Sky, DM and everyone in the server were telling you not to. Any complaints, send me a PM.
