Roster changes are allowed. The only rule about rosters is max size is 20 and players that have played for one team during SL may not play for another team. Also, if you have a max 20 roster you may only switch up to two players per week.

So if we're less than 20 we may add more than 2 persons?

Can someone fix the RULES link (in OP) which currently is pointing to TBD APL rules when this is the SkyLeague ball thread?

Hmm okay but that doesn't seem to explain what happens if a team cannot field 6 players and that 5v5 is acceptable if both captains agree on it.

We had a situation like that today (H20 didn't have 6, so some of us were not sure if we played 5v5 whether it counts or not). DN cleared up the question but I first looked at that link/this thread to see if it was already explained before asking him, but I was not able to find it. Hence the request to fix the link.

Here is the APL Rules that we are generally following for SL6:

http://altitudegame.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7784

But here is the part that matters in this case:
Quote:
- You must show up with at least 4 players to play a game, the other team can then decide if they want to play 5v4 or 4v4.
- If you show up with less than 4 players and the other team isnt willing to reschedule they will automatically win the match with the best score possible.
And, of course, these rules were meant for TBD, hence the 5v5... But in this case with SL6 being 6v6 the above numbers would change to read like this:

Quote:
- You must show up with at least 5 players to play a game, the other team can then decide if they want to play 6v5 or 5v5.
- If you show up with less than 5 players and the other team isnt willing to reschedule they will automatically win the match with the best score possible.
DN, please correct me, if I have mis-interpreted the rule...

Yep you are correct. It would seem silly to create a separate thread when the main difference between ball and TBD rules wise in accordance to APL and SL is the number of players. SO like you said for SL you must show with 5 and the teams then agree to play 5v5 or 5v6. Pretty simple though

Yeah, we did read that like a "-1 allowed" rule, but I agree it could be clearer so there are NO chances for doubts for anyone at all. It'd be a good idea to make those small changes to the rules thread, like:

"...the other team can then decide if they want to play 5v4 or 4v4 (in BALL, 6v5 or 5v5)."

"The tournament can be started 6v6 (in BALL, 7v7) ..."

And why not, changing the thread title to "APL and SL Official Rules".

I don't know he was added to their roster late in the season so at all he would have played in the final match of the regular season. If sanis or someone can confirm whether he played for asep that would be good. I don't think he did, but it would be nice to confirm beforehand.

Sanis told me that they didn't have enough so he couldn't play for asep, I need to trust him into that, since I wasn't there.

I added him to our roster knowing the rules.
