Well 2 mafia against 11 others wasn't exactly easy, especially as the serial killer could have killed us at any time, we could have died after the first combined day/night

I also think this was a bit town sided. Town actually never lynched correctly until I lead on DDP and they still came reasonably close to winning. I think some mechanism to prevent SK from killing scum might have helped - like giving us bullet proof vests, or telling the SK who mafia was but not allowing him to out them or kill them, thus requiring him to get us lynched.

Yeah, that makes sense. Obviously it didn't end up too badly for you guys ( ) but I see where you're coming from there. It was my first time making my own setup, so yeah.

When looking at the balance I didn't consider the implications of the possibility that the SK might just play it safe and mostly choose not to shoot. I was assuming 2 kills per night.

Mafia does get a very large advantage when none of the roles or even the possible roles are revealed, though. To demonstrate, look at all the posts about roles distracting the town from looking at Ribilla's and Kennedy's highly suspicious behavior on days 2-3.

Eh. The games on this forum always get really inactive after the first week. If you guys really really want me to run a game I'd do it but I'd want people to actually play :/
