Default Hangar deck ideas

It would be awesome if i could click on my friends name and it would show tgeir stats.

I could click on my friends name and it would show their "hangar deck" compared to mine. So along the top we could show the names of players. Along the left side their would be the names of each planes , followed by the kills of each plane for each player (if that made any sense at all lol) and it would also show who had the most xp etc.

Example: Xyao Angel
Randa X amount y amount
Etc.

Default Extra hangar deck stuff

Suggestion 2

I think On the hangar deck you should be able to see the following:
• amount of lifetime goals scored
• amount of lifetime demolition damage (which includes the base and turrets)
Fell free to give any thoughts, insults or ideas.

Goals wouldn't work as well for turrets as you could go on an empty private server and boost your goals or go to coop for turrets.

Hmmmmm maybe it would be possible to make it that the server has to have like 3 or more people in the server dhnno if thats possible but problems could arise from this

Nop but I guess it'd be cool if this would only work with friends. And I wouldn't mind someone seeing my stats. Around 3M EXP life time, lifetime ratios above 1.2 and almost 100k kills.

That's a great idea!

It would be cool if it can keep track of each plane's assist(s) too.

If this idea gets implemented, I'm sure there would be an option where you can hide your stats, but that would be lame.

More interest or support from the community. If this suggestion does not have a significant impact to players, overall, then it may not be worth implementing.

I wouldn't be surprised if this gets added on the next update, because it's inexpensive to do.

more of a reason to add this to the game. from what i know, they want suggestions that will either entice players to try out altitude or keep the players we already have. this is basically just a frill that will do neither.

edit: mornin', dem.

How's this:

Stats hook new and old players to the game. There are players out there who would concentrate (like addicts) on improving their stats, because it gives them a sense of accomplishment. If players can view the stats of other players, then it would be even more addicting as they compete and interact. And hey... after reaching Ace 10, what else is left to accomplish that would be permanent to a player's account?

After reaching Ace 10, the last thing that matters is the kill/death ratio. Some players turn into *hores, which can be frustrating for the *hore and other players; frustration can lead players to rage quit. We don't want to lose or discourage Altitude players from this, do we? If additional stats are introduced to the hangar deck, such as base damage and assist points, it would encourage players to bomb or play as a team to get the full Altitude experience.

Only the ones who linked alti to facebook so you still had a choice.

there's also tbd and ball ladder, professional leagues, and just generally improving your performance. reaching ace 10 doesn't make you a pro at this game, it just gives you a general knowledge of the game, there's still much work to be done afterwards.

anyways i kind of see this suggestion sort of like total kills/deaths in call of duty. aka no one gives a **** until you get to like 100,000,000 or something crazy. therefore making it a useless addition. however, i am curious as to how you think this is going to attract new players. are they going to create an advertisement for the game saying "We have stats! Stats city, stats stats city bitch!"? as for the keeping the players we already have, i honestly couldn't care less about global stat sharing, as i'm sure much of the community doesn't.

btw it doesn't help trying to make your entire argument sound like an infomercial.

Ladder and professional leagues are great for keeping the more competitive players, but not for the casual players. Most of the Altitude population consists of casual players, who just play for fun!

Currently, I’m working on a personal goal to bump my life-time kill/death ratio from 1.94 to 2.00, which is one of the motivations of why I continue to play Altitude. It would be fun to see the stats of other players and to set personal goals on other stats. I can see competitive players not caring about stats, because deep down, it all comes down to skills for them. Statistics and ace ranks do not represent a player’s level of skill, but at least it's a cool feature that will have an impact on most players. Counter-Strike has it.

It would be funny if an advertisement was created for stats haha... Stats will not attract additional players to Altitude, but it will help keep existing players, new or old, in the game. Eventually, those casual players may grow up to play competitively in ladder, so why not try to keep those players by making changes one step at a time? It’s a minor and inexpensive addition that will bring the game closer to perfection.

i still don't get how you think this is going to keep players playing. if they really want to waste their time and try to improve their ratios, then they can and they can view their stats just fine. if you really want to know someone else's ratio, there's this new thing this guy from czechoslovakia thought of: asking them. or, if they play ladder and you don't want to ask them, check their ladder stats. there's just no need and virtually no gain from this addition.

Honestly, I only play Altitude to get 20k kills on all planes so I can showoff on the Top Gun thread.

And I see no future in this. Leggo's right on his arguments.

edit: boosting ratio like a boss

just because a suggestion doesnt attract new players, doesnt mean its a bad suggestion. whats so bad about implementing something that would be interesting?

Speaking of playerbase enlargement... I met up with BeastModeIII tonight, one of the most important french youtubers (210 000 subscribers). I asked him if he'd be interested in making LPs, but sadly he said no. So guys... if you can get in touch with anyone who might pump some new players into the game... tell them about Alti! Imo it's the best way to get more activity going.
