You might as well just rename that to Tadow, since that's all it's used for.

To extend off of this:

As one of the few admins in Dojo who participates in other clans and are not members of <T>, I think it's a bit presumptuous to advertise Dojo as the <T> clan's server without noting the distinction between the two.

While I understand that the foundations of {T} (and it's competitive spin-off <T>) started in the realms of Ball Dojo by players looking for a fun, non-competitive clan (aka the 'anti-clan' if you will), Ball Dojo has, is, and should be run as an unaffiliated server, welcoming all players, regardless of their clan-affilation or even if they are independent, above level 60. That is why Ball Dojo continues to be one of the top public ball servers outside of competitive play: welcoming all those who enjoy the challenge of ball without the force of high levels of competition reserved for SL or ladder.

{T} and <T> just happen to be clans formed from members who frequent there often. When <T> does participate in official matches, I have noticed your clan participating in either APL servers or private servers (H2O, AIR, etc.).

To compare with other clans and servers, the =AIR= clan makes this distinction very clear. =AIR= EU is a public server for anyone to join and play, while =AIR= Private servers are used for clan activity (scrims, practice) and open for competitive matches (APL/SL). Other clans, such as H2O, dictate public and private servers for open use or clan play.

Thus, my personal opinion would be that if <T> wishes to advertise an official server for their clan, then it would be faithful to the foundations of Dojo if there was a separate private server. However, unlike =AIR= which runs the public EU server as a 'clan-affiliated-but-public' ball server, Ball Dojo still is and should remain free of clan affiliation as it's storied history rests on a server outside of clan influence, regardless of the owner's or admin's clan associations.

That's my 2 cents. In short, I humbly request that Dojo news and Facebook updates remain in the Ball Dojo Server thread, and remain separate from the <T> clan page.

I wish your clan the best as it gains momentum in the competitive field, and look forward to future scrims and possible SL matches down the road.

I'm digging the new thread/banner. I'm guessing this is a result of Ep's altitude abandonment?

Anywho, I should be able to take a study break to hang out with you guys tonight

So you mean i can't post <T> related news on the Dojo's Facebook page?

That essentially means there will be nothing posted there ever...

And that means we can't use Dojo II for private scrims, but if Noval changes the name we can? I think it's his server and should be able to do what he wants with it IMO...

I'm just talking about the original Ball Dojo. I don't consider "Dojo II" Dojo in the Ball Dojo sense at all as:

- Not owned by same person
- Admins are different
- Dojo II has FFA

I rest my case.

I gotta agree with soccer. If it wasn't for the welcoming of any person/clan, I wouldn't be there nor in T today. Thanks all for keeping Dojo up.

^ this, this, and oh yes this. Well stated Soccer.

Dojo is staying unaffiliated, but the use of Dojo's online news items have been pretty sparse lately. Even back with the actual news items, I think my vidcasts were over 50% of the posts.

Still got this floating around:

http://altitudegame.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2475

If you'd like to start story time, by all means go ahead. I agree it's important to know where your team/group/clan/anti-clan/whatever came from

Against ball, the first two matches were actually pretty good, since both were 6-3. We were quite overkilled - reminds me of the first days of H20. We began from there, and first thing we did was paying more attention to plane setup.

Now against H20, us waters facing you whales was actually very interesting training! It turned out to be a good way on thinking about strategy and setup against a heavy team.

That's DEA{T}H, he's usually playing at Ledow's. Know him since F-117 server times.

What Braz said, believe his current name is DEA<T>H, but I'm not home to check. Some combination of those letters, it might be <T> Death too, that looks "more right".

Default Upcoming scrim

Thursday september 27, 9:30 EST

We're doing the captains thing and <T> players must be chosen first to ensure our players get their practice time. Then others can join if needed.

Y'all down for a scrim next sunday and/or our weekly Cap<T>ains game this Thursday night? Feel like we haven't played together (other than recreational Dojo games) in a little while.

Default scrims, etc

Hey, did you have a scrim this past weekend? I spoke with Dan and I know he was supposed to have scheduled something...unless it was pushed back to this coming weekend? I won't be able to play this week through to Sunday so I'd rather not be the one to coordinate with others captains (at least for this week). So Dan should be running the show for this week, ask him what's up and when he tells me what the schedule is I'll post it at the top of the thread.

After Sunday I'll get back to scheduling some more things for us.

Dan, maybe talk to Simply Jules of TAP | about a scrim. They have a pretty good lookin' ball clan that would be fun to play against. Just a suggestion

I'll try that.

I already contacted Twisted's captain and Joker from Smile.

They didn't answer yet.

Last thursday ended up being a dojo session. Excellent games were played.

I think it was good to have a weekend off. We've been having scrims most weekends, sometimes several on the weekend. So no harm in my book. I'll plan to join the group Thursday night for a get together. And if we get a scrim scheduled for this weekend. I'll intend to be there for that. Might be better for me, going forward, to only have a scrim(s) on one day of the weekend. But I support whatever the group wants to do. You guys are doing a great job. Thank you!!!
