Default Zero Gravity

Est. October 5th, 2012. Founded by Woofy and BrazNomar

"Why fly when you can float..."

We are a ball clan longing for good competition and good fun, Zero Gravity is nowadays quite a cross-cultured team.
Each Sky League has brought good experience and intense gaming days, usually with open talks on best tactics,
varied jokes, and Mumble contacts.

Hall of Fame

Rules

• Act appropriately: no excessive cursing, no spamming, and don't excessively troll.
Respecting each other and the Altitude community at large earns you way more than that.
"Just don't be a dick and you will probably be fine."

• PLEASE remember, post confirmation on practices and scrimmages.

Recruiting

If you are a good player and
• can keep up-to-date at forums,
• understands and speaks English, and
• can use Mumble,
feel free to talk to Dougie or JJ. We'll see how you play on a 6v6 ball server like
ladder or (most probably) in one of our scrims, and decide if you can join from there.

"We wanted to be in great shape, we wanted to be able to cope with zero gravity,
we wanted to be able to cope with accelerations and decelerations and so on. So all of us trained so that
we were probably in the best physical condition we had ever been in up until that point."
- Alan Shepard

SL8: 4th out of 8 (reg season), 1-2 record (playoffs)

Hey woofy glad to see you're keeping things going. PM me and we'll get some things set up in the future. Maybe this weekend even? I know it's short notice but can't hurt to feel things out.

Default Practice/Scrimmage

Sunday, October 7th.
Scrimmage vs <T> // In Clan Scrimmage

Come:
Braz
Lombard
Inofaith
JJ

Cannot:
Phlexxo

Maybe:
Power Ranger

Unconfirmed:

I also have invited Moon, Cracker and Thermo to join us for the scrimmage, so we can see how they play in scrimmages. I have not promised them anything yet, this is only by their request.

Thanks guys!

I can make it to the Sunday skrim. And woo! A skrim against <T> would be a killer way to get things kicked off.

edit: Oh btw, fantastic website if you're ever confused about time zones and such.

Default Sorry.

I just found out that my uncle is in the hospital, and I am going out to see him. Sorry for the short notice leave, especially the guys I invited to come out. But, since Braz is coleader, he should be able to handle it. Listen to him!

Again, sorry.

Sorry to hear that your uncle isn't well. And it's completely understandable that you want to go be with him right now. Me and Braz will handle it.

A Power Ranger here...I can't guarantee anything...I'm doing a front yard project at my grandmother's, hopefully starting early in the morning...but I don't know how long it will take. If I can be here, I will.

Hmm, a real shame Woofy, hoping for a fast recover for your uncle. No worries, it should be alright, we'll have a fun time above all.

Okay ZroG,

If you can, try to show up 15 minutes early for setting up. And if you haven't yet, go read Woofy's blog post for some helpful information.

Default Today's scrim

<Tadow> server should be open for the scrim, in which case the password is jazzhands

If not, I'm sure we can find an open server. See you guys there!

Sorry I couldn't make it guys, have a cold and my body wanted to sleep.
(I probably would have been too unfocussed to contribute to the game anyway)

Looking forward to next training/scrim.

It was a really good scrim, guys!

In general, the games were very intense, I think everybody got out of it feeling that. It was my first time captaining ever and I felt pretty overwhelmed with playing, talking, and trying to think over what was wrong. So I don't really think anyone noticed me there. XD Anyway, it was a great first experience.

Thanks again for Bob, JJ, Lomb, Woofy, Moon, Thermo and Nova for coming. Another thanks again for all of T clan, we hope to go further and build up a great partnership on playing together and talking about strategy.

In my opinion, our team did well above expectations for a pretty new team. I'm sure Woofy will comment on it at the blog. We sure have material for many improvements to come, both in records and personal experiences. So hope to get your opinions here, at the blog, or anywhere you prefer.

Fast recover wishes for Ino, Caz... and Woofy's uncle.

Seeya,
Braz
