Hello. I mostly play Loopy.
1. Does double fire use more (or double) energy? Wouldn't that be a massive disadvantage? 2. Does Ultracapacitor recharge longer than Turbocharger? If so, what's better in what situation? Oh, and: 3. Does Acid have the same range as EMP? 4. Do I understand it right, that Acid's primary weapon has the same (bad) tracking ability as Double Fire? I know: noob questions, but I'm relatively new to that game and want to kill you all. Thanks |

1) Behind this link are the plane stats. Seems like they are not updated after the latest patch. In short, DF deals 2x29,25 damage vs trackers 39 dam. Energy consumption is about 370/shot for DF and 307/shot for tracker.
2) Every plane has 1000 units of energy. With Turbo, you recharge 20% faster than without a blue perk. With Ultra, you get 35% more energy. Loopys default energy regen is 600 units / sec. Miranda players use it for getting a double warp. Heavy Cannon Biplanes can shoot 3 shots before recharging and Bombers can pop 4 grenades instead of 3. Personally I don't see why bother using Ultra with Loopy or Explodet. The more energy you have, the more you can do burst damage. Generally Ultra is used more in TBD than in Ball afaik. 3) EMP has about a planes length more range than acid. The missiles fly aprox as far. 4) Acids tracking is the same as Trackers. -J |

If you think that DF's tracking is bad, you really should work on your aim. Tracker and Acid are forgiving but DF still allows you to be off a bit and outburst a Tracker. You will see DF used 90% of the time by competitive loopies and the other 10% using Acid, though we may see a rise in acid use with the latest patch.
