Format: Multi-mode; BALL/TBD/TDM.

Double elimination bracket.

Each matchup will consist of
1X 6v6 BALL

1X 5v5 TBD

1X 7v7 TDM with an 8:00 minute timer.*

*(teams can play 6v6 or 5v5 if one or both teams have less than 7, and if both teams agree.

*Teams that inflict a 3-0 victory on their opponent will receive a bonus point.

Roster cap: 10

Map pools: will be released shortly.

Servers: will be called Pwned!

Admins: VAN1SH1NG


Summary: The idea was to have an inclusive multi-mode 1 day tourney to attract as many players as possible. This format has never been done before but i feel that it has potential. Mixing up the modes keeps things interesting and gives players a chance to put many skills on show.

I capped the roster size at 10 to encourage more teams, if enough people feel this should be increased/decreased then please say so.

Also i'd appreciate some feedback from those who know the TDM and BALL maps better than I do to suggest the best ones to use.

Guys, you have to think bigger ! .. Word of mouth is golden, but we need social media advertising and youtube coverage .. Then we'll get angel investors to support us, do global tv campaigns and turn this into an event bigger than the Super Bowl and the Football World Cup !

In 5 years, this alti turnament is all people are going to be talking about !

May be easier to just try to advertise the tournament in game and hope enough show up to play. Assuming there are enough that show, pick at least 2 teams right before tournament starts. I think people want to play and would show on a Sunday but not enough who will put in the effort to get a team ready prior to the tournament.

How about running it as a draft? There may well be a good number of people that will play that don't have or have no interest in joining a regular team.

Im happy with pushing it back, ideally would be better to do this before Skyleague though to avoid conflicts.

Any ideas welcome ;')

Classy, why not have like people sign up but as free agents, that way, teams in their sole formation would have more options for players and eventually be picked up by those teams who are already established or perhaps, form another team from free agents if there are enough to fill in at least 6?

I was just thinking of this if KLF by some reason doesn't sign up, so I'd be a vet on the loose.

This is a great idea. I wouldn't like regular teams getting separated, but this way, "free agents" could easily sign up as well.

Best to just pick a date and stick with it so people can plan. If you don't think teams will be ready this week, push it back a week but need to make a decision now. I wouldn't push it back any more than that.

Problem is just a lack of active players. Honestly two teams sounds fine to me as long as they are close in skill level. Gives us something to do on Sunday. Really don't see us getting much more for a one day tournament. Can always combine the teams that sign up with another team or two that is picked from those who show up but don't have a team.

I know there are multiple people trying to put together teams but who knows if they will get enough.

We did sign up .. We have 8 players atm who want to play in this turney, which is more than enough for the three gamemodes
