Hey, im hoping someone could help me out. Mumble worked perfectly fine until yesterday, but now I'm behind a corporate firewall so I have to manually open up ports for everything. I cannot connect to altitude mumble server, in fact I dont even get any info about it like people inside or ping. Other mumble servers work fine.

So far I've tried opened 64277 port but it didn't help. Actually, I asked admin to open ALL ports for a short while but it didn't help either. I can ping the server via console succesfully.

I forgot my password on the BooksmartDevil account which has admin over my channel. Is there any way to reset/recover this password?

all registered users can make their own channels in the teams/clans/cults and custom channels section iirc. just right click your name in mumble -> register then right click the section you want to create a channel in and click add.

Want your desktop shortcut to push you right into the server/channel?

Code:
mumble://[username[:password]@]<address>[:port]/[channelpath]?version=<serverversion>
mumble://tecslice.gotdns.com:64277/?version=1.2.3
mumble://[USERNAME]@tecslice.gotdns.com:64277/Lounge?version=1.2.3
The second line will return you to the same channel with the same username as you used last time you used Mumble. The last line will log you into the Lounge channel with a set username.

When I open mumble, the app asks me which server I want to join. That is what I'm bypassing with these links is the select server screen. Open mumble -> open game, not open mumble -> wait -> select server -> open game.

Please note the new address in Tec's post in case you can't connect in the next day or so.

Default channel creation

Hi!

I've been right-clicking my name so I can add a channel, but I don't see the Add option available for me.

Any help?

Also, my teammate has a problem with his certificate/signature. He can't get his mumble working. He's using the new mumble info to connect and still no luck.

adding channels is restricted to server admins only, if you want help making a channel you can contact a server admin that happens to be online, or you can send me a PM on the forums saying what section you want it made in, the name of the channel, and what password you want (if applicable).

currently active server admins include myself, mikesol, and aki7

also can you be more specific on the certificate issue? what error message is he receiving?
