2:00 PM EST BB vs. ## Match 2

APL Server #3
2:00 PM EST L* vs. KLF Match 3

APL Server #4
2:00 PM EST IL vs. fLb Match 4

APL Server #1
3:00 PM EST Winner of Match 1 vs. Winner of Match 4

APL Server #2
3:00 PM EST Winner of Match 2 vs. Winner of Match 3

You can see how this is going to work out as detailed in this image:

Maps: Asteroids/Cave/Core

System is the same as regular season. BO3, each team vetoes 1 map, the map that's left gets played first. After than loser picks.

Several things:

1. So ACE is actually dropping out? :\

2. Shouldn't the playoffs bracket look like this:

Match 1: #1. Sammich vs. #8. DW
Match 2: #4. IL vs. #5. KLF

Match 3: #2. L* vs. #7. ##
Match 4: #3. BB vs. #6. fLb

Semifinals:

Winner of match 1 vs. winner of match 2
Winner of match 3 vs. winner of match 4

Finals: Winners of above

3. Who ended up winning the fLb vs. BB game, and what was the score? We can't really seed teams until we know the result.

4. I think you got the scores wrong in the other thread. The scores as I see them (including FN dropping out) can be found here, and they're very different from the ones you posted. I've checked over these ones a bunch and I'm pretty sure they're right.

fLb v BB was a long long long story of many different forms of gayness but it ended with fLb winning 2-1 (or you could debate 2-0 but **** it).

Weird, I look forward to hearing about it. In which case that one point BB earned placed them in second above the Lobstars, which means that the second set of matches would actually be:

Match 3: #2. BB vs. #7. ##
Match 4: #3. L* vs. #6. fLb

Such a strange season.

Edit: I was rather disappointed with this league, shows the shift in the whole metagame. It was fun, but I thought it would be better than it has ever been. :S

Many of us just aren't interested in playing in a league each sunday for 3 months anymore. Yes, there were many good times and some really good games but I personally just don't want to log in on sundays to play matches. I know many players on my team feel the same.
This doesn't mean ACE disbands or something, we'll still be around and on IRC if you wanna talk, and we'll play some scrims if you guys want, from time to time, but like .. A strict schedule each sunday for 3 months ? No thanks.
Btw, only fLb and ACE played best of seven series of high stakes match. When this season started, I was at first against a bo7 finals, but now, I definitely would want to see that, since neither ACE or fLb (well they have a chance, but I don't think they'll be in the finals this time) will be in it so I'd like to see how other people behave in a bo7 situation. ^^

Anyway, if any of what I just wrote makes sense (4am and I'm midly drunk, go (re)watch my rotaltitude challenge) then it's cool.
If not, well, let's just say that we don't think we'll be able to beat Sammich in our state anyway so we're just ggleaving the league. I guess.

We played even worse. Anyone watching our games today knows that. Honestly, the games were really bad, seriously, we all made so many mistakes it was sad.

Maybe we should to 1v3 and 2v4? 1v2 is kinda silly since that would make the top 2 teams possibly run up against each other before finals. The whole point is to make 1st and 2nd not being able to meet before finals.

Uh 2 is BB and 1 is sammich so its fine as is with 1/4 and 2/3 unless im missing something. Plus I am not terribly fond of bb/## at this point and I'd like another match against either, and I also like our rematch with L*.

Interesting matchups, i think BB and Sammich will be the only blatant victories, so Sammy in the finals

Remember, i am updating the sky ranking league after this so each round is vital for points, and hope the team you lost to goes as far as possible for maximum points

its storm's call on the brackets.. i think york's reasoning is very strange as nobo also said, but it is correct.. so maybe change?
