Are the matches happening this sunday or are you guys rescheduling ?

I don't think it would be fair to reschedule whatsoever. I have had trouble making games on Sunday cause of work, and nobody would reschedule for me... and now I did a few things I'm not too proud of to get out of work just for that morning. The game should be played as it was scheduled, as it has been every Sunday.

Just got word that I can't make the games either =/ My parents scheduled something for me without telling me now that I'm headed home.

PS: We rescheduled 3 weeks for you guys pre-season so don't give me that crap about not rescheduling. It would be completely ridiculous for you guys to not reschedule given those circumstances.

its obvious we will reschedule nobody here is gonna take a free win.. its not fun.. but you could have told us earlier to rechedule since its a week you know the game is gonna be on sunday and that sunday is mothers day, and people who have finals knew it the week before too.. i know tiny went through some trouble just to be free at that time, and hes not the only one in the team who had stuff to do.. it would be nice if you could show up at that time since i think my team will show up anyway.. if not it will be a resched but not for the week after, maybe in 2 weeks time..

As I said, my team did not inform me until yesterday. I was not informed until 5 minutes ago about my issue. I'm sorry that things came up - we have tried to make every single game. Note that the same thing happened to us throughout the whole season. We never had to reschedule any game because of us at that point.

Once again I'm sorry that things did not work out and we did not let you know earlier. I promise that if I would have known I would have said something the instant I knew. =/

so we agreed on rescheduling (there really is no choice) but i talked to the team: we are rescheduling only if mike doesnt play anchor..

i was obviously joking there, but probably next week i wont be able to make it so we have to reschedule for 2 weeks from today.
keeping 2pm EST is the best for us..

There will be some upset here an there but I think everyone will agree in saying both teams wish to have their best players there! 2 week sounds good to me, anybody think they cant make that???

Two weeks is fine for me. I would have made whatever time, but being a holiday and all, this should have been auto-rescheduled before it got off the ground.

And Tiny, I'd like to personally apologize to you. As Mike said, a lot of these timing issues were sprung on us. As far as the final exams go, they would have most likely been manageable for our players and yours. However, given the people who will be forced to miss the match already due to Mother's day, the finals were sort of the straw that broke the camels back. Regardless of circumstance, I apologize for making you jump through hoops for nothing, it is unfair to you.

That said, I think sammich has been massively accommodating of reschedules, and I can think of at least 3 or 4 games this season where we postponed a match a week or more to accommodate other teams, even as we were growing very sick of it. I know this is a hell of a time to call up some karma points, so thanks for being patient = ]

Also, Tiny, if it makes you feel the least bit better, I pissed my girlfriend off quite well telling her that I wasn't going to see her family for mother's day because I had an altitude match, haha.

Haha, atleast somebody has their priorities straight.

Thanks Manatee and Matt, and I understand how it goes, these things happen we will get it worked out. We wouldn't want to play anything but your best players, and obv wouldn't accept (or should be offered) a win in these circumstances. I am very excited for the final match, its been quite the journey.

I think, though, the drama settled in the end.
We need to work out a better palyer drops rule.
Im thinking along the lines of start tournament with 6 players and if 1 drops (and not swapping in and out) the 6th man goes in and stays in.

I still don't get the arguing over tie.
BO7 - 4-2 with 2 to play, if FLB win those 2 then 4-4, replay the tied map (we did that just played the tied map first).

But in general I had fun, reallly tense last 2 maps.

I don't think any ban, but at the time maybe a kick ^^. To be honest Evil's restrain was crazy insane (way more then mine).
