Haha yeah. No, I've been working on a fairly big deal at work with an important client. Finished it up today though so should be smooth sailing for awhile.

ggs today guys against {WoF}. The first two games they won 6-5 and 6-4, it looked really bad for us. But somehow in the last 3 games we managed a comeback.

Good work today team! Payne will post pics soon i think.

Okay guys. I officially but temporarily retire from Altitude. It has been a great many months with all you Aces and all the ex-Aces. The duration is indefinite, but more than likely long. Good luck in all your endeavors, and most importantly: Have fun.

You will, but not for the next 2 months.

It occurred to me that I have not explained why, and I apologize. I am going to flight school to become a Helicopter pilot for the US Army. The training will take between 14 months and 2 full years. The first 2 months, starting in about 2 weeks, I will have little to no access to the internet at all. Following that, I may be able to pop into the forums, but I have a lot of things I need to accomplish while I am there and shortly after my training. You can hit me up occasionally on Steam if you want.

Steam name is (bet you can't guess it if you tried): {FL}OneNeutrino

Well, I have a few more days before I leave and lots to accomplish. I may stop in the forums a few times to respond to questions =D.

Newty that's awesome. I'm actually planning on becoming a helicopter pilot myself, albeit not through the military.

Definitely keep us posted on how it's going.

Ohai I be back from inactivity =D

First of all I met Ribilla in Cambridge this morning. We ate lunch together and talked about alty & engineering. It makes you feel so über to talk to someone about Alty IRL. But unfortunatly, I am such a sexy to look at and interesting person that Rib forgot his lab class, so at some point he went like "****" put his coat on and ran away. I hope it went all right and you were able to pull off the 'eatin lunch with my 2D plain chuter friend' excuse.

Second, here are my thoughts about Neut's post:

1) I less than three you, don't go away D:
2) I hate you all helicopter pilots to death, because I can't become one (effin glasses) while I am a huge helo fan.
3) What will you be flyin sir?

Yeah really sorry about that, we get docked exam marks if we are late, but they didn't notice and I slipped in like a ninja. Really good to chat man, if you are ever in Cambers again, give me a call

You can most definitely get proper certifications if your eyes can be corrected to 20/20.

Check out the vision requirements for the FAA Medical Certificate. I have astigmatisms in both eyes, causing me to have 20/400 vision without glasses or contacts, but I still plan on becoming one

EDIT: Unless it's different in Europe...

Oh well I've pretty much dropped that plan of becoming a helo pilot, but thanks anyway !

ps: everything is different in Europe

Yeah but I doubt that you wouldn't be able to fly just because your uncorrected vision is worse than 20/20.
