I'd say the damage heavy cannon gives is okay seeing as how much energy it takes to use it.
I'm still one of those "shouldn't have changed anything to biplane" people. SO few amounts of kills actually came from pierce. I don't know why biplane ever needed to be nerfed. As far as I can tell, the biplane nerf hasn't accomplished anything. I'm still getting the same ratios without pierce, making the nerf pretty useless. |

Biplane is my plane of choice and has been for many a long year. As much as I hate to see it take a bit of a nerf, I'm inclined to agree that the piercing was too good the way it was and needed a change. I'm not the best with the plane, mind you, but I'm definitely on the very good side of things and the amount of kills it was possible to rack up with a little smart flying was extreme.
I don't think I'd like to see the initial damage of the Heavy reduced in any capacity, it feels about right the way it is, but I would like to see pierce come back in a very altered way. Perhaps nerf it so that it only does 10% damage to anything behind it? That would seem fair. It just feels.. dull without it. As much as I'd like to see some knockback, I have a feeling that would be a little too powerful. |

Woo, I can kill two targets in a row if the second target is a loopy and has 1hp!

I'm okay with pierce on the heavy cannon coming back in a smaller role. Maybe a limit on the pierce range after it hits a target? Something like not being able to hit a target 2 inches from you and have the bullet then cross the screen and hit someone else. A reduction in damage and range after the shot goes through someone basically.

I like that, it makes sense both in how it effects gameplay (no stray killer bullets), and how I imagine it would work in real life (i assume going through a plane would slow a bullet down )
