I agree, tbd_hills back please. Today.

"Too easy to bomb" applies to both teams, and nuclear is just as bad for the short runs. Nothing wrong with having some short games too, especially with the voting system now.

Hills is the only map I've ever seen voted to play 7 times in a row.

hills is still actually available for voting on the official servers, and often comes up as one of the three votes at the end of the round. It just isn't in the automatic rotation.

Quit yer bitching :|

Speaking of which, I love this new voting system. Great idea.

Honestly the only bad thing about hills GFX in my mind are those fugly clouds that look like they belong in Super Mario Bros., but that would be a quick fix.

How do you use this? I tried it in AIR server where I have admin and nothing happened afaik, no file appears, not even hidden. Or is it something that has to be done by server hosts only? Cheers

Only the host can act on this information (intended for automatic processing by scripts) -- it is written to the server's log file.

I think that's the only command-prompted log entry at the moment; everything else is automatically written.

King, why do you want chat rooms and emails? I think in the community, being in the ladder server (or whichever server the community is mostly in at the moment) is considered the "chat room", and PM boxes are considered the acceptable way to email someone. I understand if you don't check forums often and thus don't check your PM box often, but vbulletin has options in your control panel you can set so that it emails you whenever you receive a PM.

I suppose the ladder server as a "chat room" isn't really that good because it has a player limit and it kicks idle people out after 5 minutes. Maybe we can implement a web interface that allows people to chat to the ladder server and receive chats back, but then that would have its own set of problems.
