hmm. I'll think about, but the problem is J,that i need 16 teams. Sadly, i can't combine Sweden and Denmark because they already have 7 ppl. But if u want to make Scandinavian team i'll do it, but i need more teams. As u can see i combined Baltic countries to get more ppl for Fin/Nor.

16 is too much, 8 teams is much more realistic.

Or 12 with some byes.

DMCM, u know why i need 16 teams? because we would have *uarter-finals-8 teams, semi-finals-4 teams and final 2 teams.

It bit the same as EURO-2008

mate - the main problem here is, how are you gonna make all those people show up. You've got to have at least 15 people in each team totally dedicated to play in oder to make the minimum attendance rate for each team.

Right now despite a theoretically huge number - each posted team has maximum 3 really reliable players. From what I see "on the paper" only France might be realistic to attend this.

So (being against of any tournaments being connected to the states or nations) - i agree to DMCM, 8 teams is way more realistic.

1) Why can't you take them off?
2) Why aren't we allowed to wear our clan tags?
3) Xorg since you don't have any league organizing experience, do you think you can handle this?
4) Teams as they are right now will never work

Be realistic Xorg, even in the list of players you posted, I highly doubt many of them are active. Since when has Panic played ball for instance?

I think it's a good effort, Turkey is active with at least 7 people, we can train just for fun. And like you've said, who is not 6 or 7, or not active, may mix up or draw away. And then we see what happens in 2 month time.

I did a quick run-down of the teams and players and here's my suggestion:

The teams that can easily support themselves and consistently show up are Russia/Belarus, United Kingdom, France, and Holland. Italy, Germany, and Iberia (Spain/Portugal) are also likely to show up well, so that's 7 strong teams.

The rest of the national/regional teams barely have enough members to play 6v6, forget the fact that all of them won't be able to show up. So I suggest turning the rest into 5 teams (potential names in parenthesis):

Norway + Denmark (Skagerrak? Kalmar Union?)
Sweden + Finland (Gulf of Bothnia?)
Central Europe + Baltic (Central Europe still?)
Balkans + Greece (Balkans)
Turkey + Israel (Eastern Mediterranean)

Scandinavia is tricky, but any combination of those countries into 2 teams would work imo

This brings the teams down to 12, which is a reasonable number and, as DMCM said, can give 4 teams byes. This is just my 2 cents, but thought I'd offer it. Also, sorry for the confusion, I'm not actually Estonian, I just picked it because I like the colors of the flag lol

since we asians have no matches or any Asia cups, and you need more teams,

imho, i suggest you make it The EURASIA Cup.

for example: teams: Finland, France, Asia, Russia etc.

the whole Asia will compete as 1 team, since we have less players

Team Asia: Special, Proggies, Botak, TwsitedDuck, etc.

EDIT: We'd like to add aaneton to our roster. Still fishing for some more, stay tuned.

Well, I proposed one server ;-) But anyway, putting 4 servers online is nothing compared with the work organization will take. Have a look at the activity in ladder or APL threads. People envolved in such projects spend a lot of time in it, not just playing. Are you sure you're strong and free enough to do that ? Well, I hope so. European cup is a great idea. But I will not be able to get time to help you in that project except for server making. Hope good luck to you and play soon for France and Belgium in european cup

Much sense was made here. Having 6, or 7 or maybe even 8 active and communicative people in a team is really not enough to be able to play, because scheduling would be hell and unlikely to succeed. One, just one, single person not being able to make it for a scheduled match out of 12 people (or 2-3 for slightly bigger) is enough to stop it from happening.
10-12 per team is a good number (of active, communicative players) that is large enough so it allows you to play matches at most reasonable times field a workable team of 6 with possible subs, and small enough to give everyone in the team a chance to play matches.

I don't know for 100% yet, but it's pretty sure I can play. I'm in Hungary, so you can put me in the Central Europe team.

I'll let you know of my availability when we get closer to the start date.

I'm from GBR :3

Whose classicalad?
Aint he a TBD Player :l

Also Xorg, I love the Idea, but perhaps you should organise it more.
Imho get some more help from the more active ball players
Also don't think I'm trying to be captain but perhaps, players that are captains in different countries could participate like so.

This would help etc.
Just a few of my idea's

Also FT Server should be able for use I think.

A scoreboard should also be made.
