If this skyleague is using the rules of the last one (or most of them) then I think there is a rule against blue lead clans signing up without a senior altitutian chaperoning and taking responsiblity if it pulls out.

If it's up to me:
i want a dedicated chaperone, a respected member (leader, former leader) from one of the larger clans. It's pretty obvious why.
Convince one of them to put their reputation on the line to believe in you.
There is no negotiation, there isn't a debate, whining doesn't help. That's the requirement for those with a track record like this.
