This is when Tristan was banned, I understand the rule, but he obviously didnt mean to speak after you had said spec chat.. , and the first "spec chat warning by DN" was clearly towards Disi. We all get the rule, but he obviously didnt mean to break it.

Dont hate.. im just saying this rule can be strict, but everything needs a bit of leniency.

1. The rule was clearly stated during the week and it states that after a general warning (issued when tristan was in the server) anyone breaking the rule will get banned.
2. The first one looks like a misstype so DN warned him again (he couldve just banned him) and theres a second all chat from him after a second warning. I dont see why that is unfair.
3. Obvious misstypes will be ignored depending on the admin but that doesnt mean you can abuse that, also being smart about it will only make your ban longer. So after a warning dont try and be funny by typing SORRY in all chat.

he typed sorry in spec chat. And ya i get it, but i know tristan, hes a nice guy and he really didnt mean to break the rule i know it! im just saying the rule should be a bit more lenient and less time.

O PS: not a complaint, more of a statement (about changing rules for the future)

We reduced the time from 1 hour to 30 minutes on the first offence so thay you would only lose a game or so. Any less would be useless.

As andy has said, I have given ample warnings and described in excruciating details about how we would ban and what the ban lengths would be. No one complained beforehand that the rules were unfair or not explained well.

Yes, it may seem unfair and may even seem bad that I banned your leader right before our match, but once the warning is issued I would have banned anyone who would have said anything.

There are two points I want to make here. First off, I received a large amounts of harassment after the ban which I could have easily taken further action on (there are rules for general immaturity in the SL rules). I am not going to post the stuff that I received, but easily makes my decision easier. I do not appreciate being told that I would not have banned others when I easily would have and my team received fair warning to just not all chat at all to make it where I did not have to ban them. I think I have the ability to be fair and impartial and I respect everyone and the ability to get things done in a timely fashion is a reason why I am a SL admin.

The second thing I want to point out is the obvious and clear stalling that you guys were doing to make sure that tristan did not miss more than one game. We probably waited 20 minutes easily because you guys were arguing with me. Future tactics of this sort will result in a forfeit due to time and set-up rules.

If andy or any other admin thinks I am out of line for what I did, I would apologize and even step down if need be. I am sorry for what happened and the way it looks, but I believe fully in what I did. Look at it this way, you guys still wiped the floor with us.

As someone who wasn't online on sunday but has basic reading comprehension let me break this down for you.

There is a rule which states that any all chat which occurs at any point other than just after a goal is bannable. The admin may give a single warning if they want to.

• Disi speaks
• A server-wide warning is issued
• Tristan speaks (at this point he should be banned)
• ANOTHER warning was given
• Tristan all chats again.
• Tristan is banned.

I like Tristan, he's fat, but rules are rules. If you still have trouble understanding why he is banned or think this is some kind of conspiracy, then I offer basic English Language lessons for £25 an hour on Skype.

Working on the challonge but here is a snapshot of what the rankings are after week 2.

I just noticed something that may be causing the error in our challonge. BBQ is missing one game win since they have won 4 matches minimum games won is 8 but it only shows 7. BBQ points should be 12 instead of 11. Trying to find the error in challonge.

Edit: Found and corrected error, BBQ has 12 points instead of 11, but challonge is still not updating for some weird reason.

Anyway i tried playing around with it and had no success, I also managed to screw with the FAT vs f-16 round 12 game which now shows 0-0 but ill fix that once the match is played (so dont post saying theres something wrong since i know i just cant reset the score i can only change it).

We werent stalling, Disi specifically said, "Guys lets just play them now, we don't have a choice" We were questioning the decision, and the whole map vetoing thing, lol we wer actually picking the map while ur team went on to bash on us on how we were stalling (Again while we were picking the map).

This entire situation could've been handled better by both sides, but I will be damned if I ever let people talk crap like that to the guys organizing a tourney about the rules they have clearly posted and claim bias. DN literally sighed on Mumble before making the ban. He didn't have a choice, it was clear in this situation.

Whether the stalling was intentional or not can be argued for both sides, but someone on your squad did suggest it which is ridiculous on its own merit. Hate the rule? Don't play. Andy and DN don't spend their time on this league to deal with drama.

Honestly if there is ever a rule you want to appeal it should be dealt with following the matches, not during. Don't spam them with PMs or jump into mumble channels to discuss it while we are trying to move on. It wastes precious time which those of us who work do not have enough of.

It was good to see most of us had calmed down following the match, but I really hope this doesn't happen every time someone gets called out for breaking the spec chat rule.

I will say I appreciated seeing Disi trying to get the match going.

Though WABL had better rules than SkyLeague, I just wanted to say DN is doing a pretty good job of running the league so far.
