Yeah I just noticed you are trying to start this on Monday the 16th. That is in no offense to you a terrible idea. You have to remember many americans either have work or classes during the week despite it being the summer. Some euros may be effected too. Sundays are generally used because people all around the world are most free on that day typically. I suggest you moving back to the 15th and causing a conflict with SL finals which should not remove many people from the equation. We will just need one APL server for the finals. Otherwise you can delay the start of this tournament by a week. But you will be alienating a lot of players by having this during the work week.

I think it's just a typo - in comment #10 it's the 15th. Has to be fixed though.

Its not a typo. If we do this sunday, every Ef'er and Uc'er have to draw back since we scrim then, and thats quite a lot of players in this tourney...

Its ofcourse up to Pacman, but the monday thing has been up there pretty long and I didn't see any clans/players competing having troubles with it. Maybe the clans that are in this can post here what they like/want?

@lakos- Well if it was a typo he would likely have written it Sunday the 16th not Monday the 16th.

@everyone else- it has only been like that for a few days and a lot of people would not think to check on the date because it seems illogical to have on a monday at that time as well as people dont always check the opening thread unless some one posts that it has been changed. However, if the tourny is just euros then it is definitely not as big a deal, but I am pretty sure there is some US players that want to play. Also generally tournys take priority for teams over scrims, so you guys should generally try to set times that dont conflict with tournys to plan scrims especially if you want to participate in said tournament as scrims can be rescheduled tournies usually don't unless major holidays.

i informed all the clan leaders taking part in the tourny about 2-3 weeks ago about the change of date and told them to report back to me if this is ok; they all said it was fine ect,

Also the original date was set just after SL started which was 'week after SL finishes', which would have beeen the sunday 15th.

Though because SL didnt take into mind that many ppl will intend on watching the EURO finals they had to skip a week, which of cource interfered with 1DM-TOURNY meaning i would of had to skip a week meaning i wouldnt of been able to make the finals, and sevral ppl will be on holiday, but that is why i asked the clans to double check that they can make it.

though if the worse happens and some clans turn up on sunday i guese i can change the Brackets, and who is Vsing who, so that they can get there game over and done with, then on monday the remaining clans have there scrims, and continue as normal?

I would rather call it a suggestion, but i am unsure about Monday.
1 Tournament player haven't been online that much and i would prefer using that player instead of our subs.

So PAC said earlier that I'm apparently leading the non-teamers into glorious battle.

I'm going to call this team Dark Horse (as in the political term "dark horse candidate") unless the other members use a baseball bat to violently depose me and rename it something else. I guess the tag will be (DH)

sorry for the delay, iv just been confirming with some of the other teams that it is now on sunday, due to USA teams ect,

so EVERYONE IS PLAYING ON SUNDAY 6GMT
