The overall quality of the games is much lower than previous week, and the commentaries as well in my mind. But there's also the first FPVODs of official matches.

Awesome videos.

I would like to recommend prefixing all video titles with "Altitude Game:" without the quotes of coarse.

This helps google search engine realize all these videos are about the same thing so then it can bring up relevant related videos etc.

Yeah, that was unfortunate. And Tyr, you were really not paying attention there-- during that first game, I was stuck out of the server for a whole minute, and eso couldn't get back in for like 5 minutes before you noticed he was missing. A significant part of that game was 5v4 =P

Yeah I'm not really paying attention indeed ... Plus, with capturemode I don't see the chat unless I press enter.
Hopefully this won't happen again since tec seems to have find the problem for all the server crashes and lags.

Hey Tyr, what do you use to make these? I know fraps for the recording, but how about the actual commentary / editing?

I record directly with sound comming from the mic, so I talk while I play which is why sometimes I stop in the middle of a sentence because there's some action going on.
I can't get the mic AND the sound at the same time without some tweaking. I figured something a while ago with a soft called "Virtual Audio Cable" which allowed me to get mic AND Stereo Mix on one line, but for some reason it doesn't work anymore, maybe I need to reinstall it, I dunno.

If I get the video from someone else, I record the commentary while watching on Audacity, and then put in on the video with Windows Movie Maker.
Anyway, I use WMM to edit my tape to reduce it to a more manageable size.
Usually with the setup I use, I get something around 200-250mb for 1 minute of video, so I need to reduce it before uploading it to youtube, WMM does that just fine, and youtube accepts .wmv files so it's all cool.

Don't ask for mac, I have no idea.
