Default Mac DL

I am having trouble downloading the game onto a new Mac (separately, not through steam). When I download the installer it says

"Altitude Installer" is damaged and can't be opened. You should eject the disk image.

Is there any known solution to this?

I suppose you could try the download link on this page, http://web.archive.org/web/201604302...itudegame.com/. It may contain an older file of the altitude installer. Either way lam/Karl are usually pretty fast to respond to these things.

The installer hasn't changed in years - from a bit of searching, it might be that newer versions of OS X require application installers be signed by default, which I'm not sure the altitude installer is (?). Here's how to disable it:

Moved to a new computer with a backup on an external HDD, now Altitude crashes when I try and open it. Trying to reinstall it. Again.

Is having the game on an external HDD the problem, I wonder? I boot off the external and it's plugged in to a powered USB hub.

So I'm using my old laptop to play Altitude on... I need a bigger desk...
