Since we've been posting the after-match results in the {ball} thread, I'm a little worried about ball*'s identity (and clan thread) getting lost in the fray. I'm happy with the way things have been going internally, but I was thinking...

You know what would be fun? An official ball v. ball* 6v6 match I'd say best of 7, but I'm afraid it would actually go 7 games and each one will take half an hour, haha. What do you guys think?

After looking at the roster, getting 6 ball*'s together in one place could be tricky, haha. And I know the clan title says "elite and exclusive" part of {ball}, but tgleaf has definitely done a good enough job of recruiting that I'm confident they could put up 6 equally good players :P So much for being the awesome ones, right? But, if it weren't the case, it would just be a varsity vs. JV beatdown...ball vs. ball* should be much more interesting. That is, if we have enough people!

You know what would be fun? Having enough people at practices. A guy can dream.

Wolf, I think you're confusing two things, the practice (which you're leading at 11am on Sunday, and which can be whatever you want -- such as one game of TBD, one game on BALL, and then one game of 1DM for example) and this idea of a {ball} vs {ball*} match, which would be at some future date.

Hey guys, ball* had an impromptu scrimmage against ICE today! It was 3v3 with anghell, harmonica, and me competing against the ICE squad.
We won 5-0!
Scores:
snow 6-1
darkwar 6-4
mayhem 6-0
football 6-0
cave 6-1
hopefully we can have an official clan match sometime soon

everyone in {ball*} should have all of the ball maps at these links in order to cut down on download time when they want to be played:

It is suggested that everyone in {ball} have them as well.
After downloading, go to your altitude folder, and put them in the maps folder.

Everyone please welcome new member, Cid Highwind! He's a pretty nasty explodet, and hopefully he'll help us develop into a solid team. We've been scouting him for a while, and finally got around to giving him an offer to join.
Add him in game ({ball*} Cid Highwind) and in the forums so you can chat him up when you see him around.
Also, from now on new members are added pending approval from the team. If you have an issue with a new player, eg. you don't think they're good enough, bring it up with me or wiseguy.

Everyone better show up for the tourney on Sunday!! Doesn't matter if you're a starter or not, if you're there, you have a chance to play. + it'll definitely be fun to watch.
