Altitude Proleague Prize Pool

I am pleased to announce that Lamster has cleared with us a 3000 community point prize pool for the league. Half of the points will be given out based on league performance, but the other half will be earned through community involved contests in which anyone and everyone is invited to participate in. Me and the other organizers still have some things to hash out in terms of point distribution amongst the different events but heres what we have so far.

How to get a chunk of that CP:

Commentary Contest:

We will be recording a choice game each week and posting the raw vod up on the forums along with informative guide to inform you how to record your voice over this vod and upload it to youtube. This will be a weekly thing and all entries must be uploaded to youtube, the goal is to create content for altitude and get the word out about the game. We will either let a panel of judges or the community vote on each weeks winner who will receive a CP prize. Please note that there will be another contest and chance to win each week starting as soon as next weekend! NOTE: You do not need to be on an APL team to submit an eligible APL commentary, all are welcome.

Epic Screen Shot Contest:

Every week we will be awarding CP for whoever can submit the most epic and/or amusing APL related screenshot. This one will be decided by a panel of judges and we will award multiple pictures each week.

Special Awards:

At the end of the league we will give out special awards for best of ect ect. This one will most likely be a community vote.

League Placement:

League performance will be awarded (were not sure yet what places CP will be awarded for but atleast top 3) by the captain of each team receiving CP to distribute amongst his/her teammates as he/she sees fit.

Please note none of these ideas are finalized and they are all subject to change. Expect alterations and CP distribution soon. Please remember for us to be able to do things like this we need community involvement so tell all of your friends!

I think you missed the important part of that post, which was where I decided to start calling him Lam*

this will eventually be further abbreviated until everyone is associating the name of my clan with the founder of altitude.

League Placement Prize should go to the top 5 imo

And having a worst team prize would just encourage some teams (not going to name names) to lose on purpose in order to get that prize.
