While the above applies to red perks, what about the green and blue perks?

I was thinking that after gaining a certain number of levels, the player would be presented with a menu in which he or she chooses one green/blue perk and adds that perk to his or her available perks.

i.e.
lvl 10 pick a green + blue perk
lvl 25 pick a green + blue perk
lvl 40 pick a green + blue perk
lvl 50 pick the last green + blue perk

As said above, this way the player can play with the red/green/blue perks he or she enjoys at a lower level while the other perks can be unlocked later at leisure.

Also, I understand that there are those that can rape with nothing more than suppressor and rubber hull. This is for those who don't fall under that category.

Well since we get the badge only and no extra planeslot for the ace ranks 6-10 this could help. Its a gift for making it so far to ace ranks.

agree on the both posts. Perk choice in Ace 6-10 would make it much joyful to play. By that time (well actually earlier) can use any perk normally and don't need to gain it as reward - so a choice of perks would just let people play their favorite planes while acing.
