I updated the map, but I can rollback to V2 if you prefer. To add 2 version I would need a restart, which I would prefer to ake when the server is empty.

Just played on this map on AIR public, I personally didn't find any problems with it, fast gameplay, good routes, all in all a fun map.

Okay, so after a small amount of testing, V.3 is now the new version. So if you are hosting atmosphere, I would LOVE for you to keep hosting it. Just please update it with V.3. Thank you, and please leave feedback on V.3

Personally, I think the new version is by far the best. In V2, the bottom route was a little overused, but that new obstacle really cuts down on that and forces people to make choices on which way to go. Also, there really aren't any imbalances in differen't types of planes. I have heard people say that randa is OP, but then I hear every other person say that all the other plane types are OP. Great map overall, hope it goes official!

I played the latest version V3 today (a few games on AIR EU). I could not play as Randa because I aced up, but I played as bomber. The map has enough places for bomber spam and to rack up some kills. Whales also seem to have decent ratios.
I've played the older V2 version as well, and this did not seem too different, I didn't think the fatter obstacles at the bottom made a huge difference, but the map plays nicely. Edit: I'd like to play this map a couple of more times (with Randa). Last edited by Tekn0; 01-23-2011 at 06:06 AM. |

Nikon I know you've worked very hard on this map and done several refinements and changes. But..
I'd like to request player names colours in full White so they can be viewed better. I can understand if you're too tired/annoyed with constantly making changes but I believe in a high quality map like this that is bound to happen. Even if you don't make this one last change, it's fine, I still love the map and graphics Thank you for this contribution to the ball scene. |

Thank you for you suggestion, I will take that in to consideration. I've never had a problem seeing peoples names and I've never had that complaint before, so if it begins to become a problem, I will be sure to make that change.

Okay, so I know a lot of people are bit**ing about this map. So I want to change it a bit. Any suggestions? People say that the breakaway is too OP, I was thinking maybe I would make it %10 bigger, or something of the sort. It plays fast a quick, but I think it's too unique for some people.

Just played a few rounds on the updated map. It plays well. Definitely slower and more thoughtful (that is, you have to think where you want to fly/pass instead of just heading for the bottom route).
I liked the old graphics a little better, but these are fine. While it looks/feel cluttered, I don't think it detracts from playability. The tunnels aren't so much an interesting feature or special route as they just provide an extra obstacle so that those areas aren't so open/easy, which is fine. |

I think the three vertical obstacles in the middle of the map need to be modified (e.g. remove the middle one and/or extend the outer ones), making the middle tunnel a much more viable option
I also feel like the area of the bottom route where the thick curved obstacle is could benefit from more distance between it and the bottom floor You could still probably make the map a little bit wider, with the spawns moving accordingly. That way, easy fastbreaks are prevented and there would be less points of clustering. I know you liked the map small and fast, but I guess that's what most people don't want for competitive play :/ |

Why is there a penis in the middle?
regardless, it just seemed to make things less tight without actually changing the fact that the bottom is really the only route that people can and should use. It just makes the map less whale-friendly without actually changing what was wrong with the gameplay. I honestly thought it was fine as it was, but making an actual middle route could make the map better (since no one ever uses top routes due to being right next to spawns n ****) Last edited by Duck Duck Pwn; 02-14-2011 at 09:43 PM. |

that tunnel deal would be good, if it didn't look like it would totally f*** up all passes, clears, etc. down that area. unless that is the intention of course...
