Connection Problem

I just got mac for steam and noticing that altitude was free for the weekend, as being an old altitude demo plater, I decided to download it and play. I had some good matches yesterday but today when i tried to log in, it stays on the waiting for response box and then gives me a login error.

I love altitude and was planing to buy it this weekend during the sale, but i don't want to wast my money if this problem continues.

We had a few network issues when our load massively spiked due to free weekend publicity, but those issues should be fixed now and we definitely won't be experiencing load spikes like that once the free weekend is over (this Sunday).
