Default Password requirement for Ball Dojo? Vote here.

Simple question/poll. Should I set a password on the Ball Dojo? I don't have a fundamental problem with newbies joining, but there are so many lately that it seems the regulars can't get on as much.

I don't want to make a change that big without a lot of community support for it.

Cheers.

Ball Dojo is one of the FEW servers where old players and new players both play and it would be a bad idea to shrink that community. It would leave pretty much just Official #3 and the arr servers.

Passwords are for official, "organized" play for more experienced players e.g. Captain's Games, Proleague, and Ladder. If vets have trouble getting into Ball Dojo why not start a Ball ladder game?

I would have to agree also, although I haven't been on alty very long, and while it is annoying to not be able to get into the game sometimes, I did notice the dojo is a melting pot for newbies and vets.

Just a suggestion, as I am a newb...never played on that sever, but why not make a Ball Dojo 2? Sounds fun, I'll have to check it out!

Ball Dojo 2 is an option. Only problems; it costs money to run a server and I don't want to split up the Dojo community into 2 groups.

There's a progression on the path to ball-dom.

Starts off in Official Bouncy, goes on to Dojo, then to Ladder. Before there was Dojo, you and I, and by that I mean us Americans, had to play Official Hard (which was rarely ever populated) or play on the laggier {arr} servers. Which I hate doing because being American is all about having your beer ice cold and your ping low. HOLLA!

Therefore, tacos are better than burritos.

I hadn't realized that people viewed it that way. Good points made by all. I won't put a password on the Dojo. Thank you everyone.
