There once was a plane. It used to dominate altitude. Its name was trickster. I remember the time when people would fear this plane. They would say stuff like, "you hax!" or "wtf?!" But one sunny or cold day (i forget) this plane had its testicles removed due to a nerf. It is now going the way of the do-do bird. Can it at least have one testicle back? Just one? I can count the number of people who use it at any reasonable level of play on one hand, and realistically its even less than that. Please, wont you save the trickster and give it a buff?

hmm. nice 1rst post! and i agree they do need to bff the trickster a little. NOT alot or that would be excellent for snow. but just enough that it has more umph

Good idea especially like the energy recharge. Also just being faster would be good, mira seems really slow 2 me, and plus alien planes should be fast

Miranda is already the fastest plane in the game when using afterburner (yes, faster than loopy).

Also the main reason why slightly faster energy recharge or faster speed wouldn't work is because it's bad design to have a red perk change anything about a plane besides its weapon. If you want to apply faster energy recharge to the trickster you'd have to apply it to the laser and time anchor as well, which would obviously not work.

Its seems very slow without afterburner, didnt know that about the recharge speeds, ty.

Fo: I like this idea. Added bounce damage gives people more incentive to use it. (When it's the most skillful part of trick play)

I agree with this statement. The image of the trickster is a shot bouncing off the wall am i right? bounce shots should lose no or little damage, but no double hits

And having a single plane dominate the game was good right? Now people actually have to have a bit of skill to play well. People calling your plane "hax" does not help your argument, this is the reason the nerf happened.

That was the non srs part of my post, I agree that it needed a nerf, but with the combination of the other buffs for other planes its way too weak now, and I think its borne out by how often it is used in competitive play, which is very very rarely, I play ladders a lot and this is clear.

I appreciate the time you put into this, I think you brought up good points about the nerf/buffs, especially that the buffs were not enough. It seems clear to me that this plane is too weak, and I think the facts bear it out, that they are so rarely used now, even much more so than when you first posted that.

After seeing [fLb]RandaTerminator tear up a game of ball on labyrinth with his trickster, I no longer feel trickster needs a buff. He was rockin ace instincts pretty hard and easily lead his team in kills

That game he was referring to was in ladder. Trickster is by no means a paperweight. A good trick can tear apart an entire team in seconds flat.

its a nice looking paperweight capable of getting 85 kills i believe it was in a 19 min game. i edged him out with 89. And I know that tbd and ball are different games, but if the plane is clearly usable in one mode as a killer then it has enough firepower.

fLb employs tricksters to great effect in competitive scenarios, the trick is stapling their finger to the s key.

With all due respect, but i see randa's do stuff in the ball ladder and servers that no mere mortal can. I think the randa is still strong enough, but this time you are gonna actually need skill to get to the god tier.

Havent checked the forums in awhile, but I mean trickster not all randas, WE DONT ALL LOOK ALIKE AND NO I WILL NOT SIT IN THE BACK OF THE BUS. Anyways in response to the other comments, yes there are a select few, maybe like two, (sin and ufo), who can do well with the trickster, but two people (perhaps a few more) is nothing. For example, if im not incorrect, the same thing was true for the biplane, (elixir for example) but it still got buffed.
