I kind of like the one on the left. The one on the right looks really cool with that texture, but the left one has a certain je ne sais quois about it. I guess it's just because it flows with the plane images and I like the shadows and everything about it. With the one on the right, all those shadows, cracks, etc. are very hard to see.

Edit: Also, the newest texture on the far right is best. purrfectly balaced. There's an I dead! a black cat in the map somewhere? maybe stuck in the tree? And an undead fireman can be helping it down! ok maybe thats a bit far... |

You can make me dead too. As long as my hand is sticking up out of the grave lol. I'm not too big on tbd but I think this would be a very cool map. I like the right side of the two map ideas personally. Maybe after you get the tbd version sorted you could tranform it into a ball map?

Otherwise it looks like its coming along greatly. The rock thats balanced looks the best imo. Great brains/ eyes/ trees. |

I say try the map out with the dark bak ground before changing it much. Focus worked good with a dark background remember. Though it wasn't as dark as black. If you need to, you could put a couple of glowing ghosts in the background to light it up a bit!

First impressions:
- Where's the second neutral bomb? I only see the one in the bottom. - Middle looks a bit cramped, but it will be hard to tell until I get a chance to play it. - I'd recommend placing the spawn points somewhere else, because having them right over the base tends to lead to easy spawn-blocks. Wherever they are, they should still give access to defending the bottom route (i.e. don't place them up near the brain jars). - Graphics look awesome! Look forward to testing it. |

The other side of the pumpkin seems like a good place at first glance. Sizing down the trees a bit seems like a good plan as well - my main complaint with that area is that there's no way to avoid an almost vertical climb if you want to take that path once you have the bomb.

Lookin pretty good to me! I like the plane ghosts a lot. Some of those strewn around could light things up a bit! non collidable and like clouds in that you can fly through/ under them?

Trying to make maps has been a mistake.

does this mean your quitting making this map? cause after playing it I really loved it excepting for the collision bug thing. one more thing, coming in with a bomb from the top is way too easy as there is only 1 turret there which stops shooting you once you are able to bomb the base from there. i was able to get in an out with a bomb many times. i really love the two turrets at the bottom in the claws when you pass through the side of the map. keep up the good work! and if you don't want to, then you could pass the responsibility to me and I could see what I could do with it, but I like your work better than any of mine. You're almost there! keep going!

Don't quit, we believe in you! If you enjoy creating this stuff you shouldn't need the recognition to feel accomplished. I personally am extremely envious of your graphic design skills :/

If you're not having fun making maps, I'm not going to tell you to keep doing it. I would however, remind you that you are very talented artist with great ideas, and encourage you to think of this as an exercise in art and video game design. Altitude is one medium for your art. As long as you enjoy it, it's 100% worth it - every time you do it. If someone else enjoys it, that's icing on the cake, man. BP |

The other part of mapmaking is getting people to play and test it and filter out the crap that n00bs throw at you.
You obviously failed at doing this? Time to redeem yourself, else it'd be such a shame. |
