This is a map that was motivated by ball_snow, as well as tbd_snowlands from back in the day. I tried to incorporate the old snowlands middle, where there were just 3 power-ups in middle as shown above. It was a lovely map and i will be editing a lot.... Feedback would be great! I already see a lot of improvements that can be made! I hope people can test this as soon as possible!

It's not perfect, so just yell at me and i'll try to make it the best possible...I like the candlejack looking character on each side shooting out all the people spawning, and the guy middle looks like he is a devil (middle two are like the mouth), and horns too! Feedback plz!

It looks pretty neat, and a snow concept for TBD would be nice, so please keep working on it.

The gray border lines on some of the objects look big and grainy, while on some of them they look thin and fine. This gives me the impression that some of the map objects were resized from something smaller. The big grainy lines kinda look messy :/ You might be able to use some sort of smoothing tool, depending on what program you're using, to help solve the problem.

I see some light shading going on with some of the map objects, which is good. I think the shading could afford to be a little stronger, though, to give the objects more of a 3D feel. The shading on some of the objects, though, doesn't correspond to the shading on other objects. In the middle, for example, I can tell that the bottom floating objects (with icicles standing up) is just an inverted version of the middle-middle object, and the shading confirms that, but it looks weird because you now appear to have light hitting from the top and from the bottom (which is possible on reflected snow, I guess).

The gradient for the sky looks a little too strong. It looks like you started the gradient in the middle and pulled it upwards, maybe? A daytime sky has a very very subtle change of color from the top to the bottom.

It would be neat if you could try expanding on the map objects, though. Snow is snow, and snow eventually gets kinda boring to look at all by itself. Depending on your own tastes, you could try working in some snow-covered trees, or maybe even some north-pole/Christmas objects, like giant candy canes or something. ball_snow is kinda bland overall, but that at least has the goofy penguin in the middle.

At a glance, the map layout itself seems to lend itself to a lot of lobbing, since all of the area around the base is nothing up open space.

* Ceiling and floor are both instant kill.

* You can fly through half of the snow in the map.

* Upper wall in both bases seems out of place.

* Middle paths seem super narrow (explodets op)

* Edges are blurry and give me a headache.


Overall - good start but needs a few minor fixes. As you know I uploaded it to my server and we're testing it more now.

The second one looks good, however I still think those middle stalactites are only there to make a whale's life easy.

I'm assuming you fixed the whole "flying through walls" thing?

Um you have invisible floors and ceiling throughout the entire map. You now randomly run into things and die. If you push b you can see that the images are not aligned with the actual floor lol.

the collisions for the bottom of the avalanche is all fuxd up, debug mode and fly along the bottom

move the turret resting on the edge a little up, cuz a bomber or whale can camp and destroy the turret from the top choke, rendering the turret useless.

Otherwise, I'm sure this map will be in compet. in no time!
