Anyways, a quick suggestion. Have some many captain roles is very bad. Having 2 captains is fine but once you start getting out of hand, things go downhill.

This is very correct. Having 5-6 captains is bad, because they could all chose different decisions and it'll end real quick. I suggest 2-4 captains at most.

Quite the contrary, if there is 1-2 leaders it can be a big burden for those two (one of them is usually THE leader), so having 3-4 leaders lightens the burden on everyone and leading the clan becomes a team effort. But as always, 1 of the group usually does most of the leading.

No offense York but you've started 9+ clans and all of them have failed, so I don't think you should be giving advice about leadership.

And I disagree with you about having multiple captains on a team, {ball} has drunkguava, tgleaf and nikon and it's ran well. AH has Payne, Demuyt, Selfish Lover and sometimes me and we manage to lead an active clan.

Having a "board" or "committee" can help prevent you from making stupid mistakes as a leader, you can weigh in matters with the other clan leaders.

thanks to all but only i can be general so thats only one leader and when members achieve higher ranks then ill consider their ideas and such but they still dont get to make the final decision

Please stop derailing other team's threads with random arguments or posts. It's cool if you want to offer a suggestion - but let's not get into flame wars over something as simple as "how many captains a team should have."

After all - what works for one person doesn't work for another. Team Sammich has had one and at most two captains at any given time. With that being said - there are plenty of other teams who have survived with multiple captains. Having too many can be a bad thing - but if people don't have time - having too few can also be a bad thing.
