Game Mode: 6v6 Ball, BO1 Double elimination, random seeding
Maps: TBA, played in set order
Date/Time: 6pm GMT, 1pm EST, Jan 9nd

Points:
A = Number of teams. (Min 4)
1st = A
2nd = A/2
3rd/4th = A/4
5th - 10th = A/8

Updated when team registration is complete (Ends 5th Dec).

There are weekly tournaments for the league. Teams can decide whether or not to sign up for them and there is no penalization for not signing up. We are just simply giving teams a long period of time to see if they can make the tournies or not.

Is there any advantage to skipping a week? I feel like the only thing that happens is you miss out on getting some points, even if you get 9th place.

I just don't see any clans skipping weeks even though they're optional...

Clan's who register but don't show up will likely be barred from play in the next tourney at the very least.

Haha ok but what about the clans that don't register? Is there any advantage at all to not registering a week? It just seems so pointless considering you'd end up with at least 1 point getting 9th place.

Hey CCN- I was wondering how you are choosing maps/seeds? Did you assign each team a number and generate it randomly so its truly random? Are you doing the same with the maps?

I use a random generator online. I havn't looked at the code behind it but it works resonable enough.

I mean I guess that's an advantage...but that really has nothing to do with making the tourneys optional. This would still occur whether the tourneys were optional or mandatory.

The Forum posts are the more up to date ones, i'm still working on making Dougie more aware of the process (which before now used to live solely in my head) so that we can sync up. As I get better with my communication this issue will become less.

No you arn't. I've been extremely lenient, and I specifically warned your clan in pms when they made changes almost on the day of the last tournament that next time i'd be keeping hard deadlines.

Why are the rankings still inaccurate?

I'd like to see the brackets uploaded at least before the tournament

and the rankings are terribly wrong. Please get this stuff resolved quickly.

Looks wrong to me. Doesn't 1st place get points that equal the number of participants ? 10 Points plz ~~~~~~~~~

One team didn't have enough members. Also I fiddled with the figures a bit using that as a rough guide. I posted the actual points people would win before the tourney.
